Look, I’ve been gaming since the cartridge days, and at forty years old, my patience for gimmicky mobile time-wasters is completely shot. When I fired up Shot The Number, I wasn't expecting a masterpiece, and thankfully, my low expectations were met. It’s a functional puzzle game that revolves around numbers and basic calculation logic, but it completely lacks any real soul or lasting engagement. You swipe, you match or clear figures, and you move on—if you even care to finish a stage.
At this point in my life, if I’m sitting down with a game on my phone during a commute or waiting room, I want it to respect my time and offer actual depth. This feels like something thrown together in a weekend to harvest ad clicks or microtransactions. The visuals are stark to a fault, the audio is forgettable background noise, and there's zero narrative framework to give any of these digits a purpose. For a quick distraction, it functions, but calling it a notable gaming experience would be a massive stretch. Dinsun out—skip it unless you've exhausted every other puzzle on the App Store.
