Pocket Love is essentially 'The Sims' if you took away the free will and the complexity. It’s a game about buying things to look at them. The art style is undeniably 'cute,' if you’re into that pastel aesthetic, but as a gamer, I find the lack of systems to be frustrating. You’re not managing a life; you’re managing a shopping list.

The mini-games are rudimentary, and the progression is tied heavily to waiting for timers or watching ads to 'unpack' items. For someone who values mechanics and challenge, this is barely a game. It’s a digital hobby kit. It’s fine for people who just want to decorate a screen, but don't go in expecting a simulation with any depth.
