Love this game but a few ideas!
Tue Sep 10 2024 beigeheartsThis game is pretty good. It’s nice to play a mindless game after a long day of work and also feel good when you advance to the next apartment or upgrade an idol. As well it’s nice that not everything needs to be bought with real money (though it may speed up the process sometimes). All in all I love a good game that isn’t pay to play.
Thought it’s frustrating sometimes when trying to place an object and it can only rotate in two directions. It makes it difficult to customize your rooms (for example, couches aren’t able to face televisions!)
As well there’s no option to sell items (as far as I know), and makes it somewhat annoying to search through your items list to find something you want. Even if the items were sold for a lower price than bought it would be nice to have a way to clear up your items list of unwanted furniture.
These are super minor details and don’t ruin the gameplay or anything but I think by adding it could really enhance it!
Totally great! Waiting for the mini games!
Fri Nov 01 2024 otterunicorn55I love this game so so much! One thing though, in the description it said there would be mini games, but where are they? Hyperbeard has a habit of promising multiple mini games and then only putting in one (pancake flipper for PocketHome, Guardian Run for Fairy Village) but we don’t even have one for this one! I would love to be able to play games with the idols and get coins (more than one game option). I think it would be cool to have an option to go to the concerts with your idols and play with them, the game Monthly Idol has an interface like that and it was pretty fun, just overwhelming at times. All in all, good game! Hoping to see more updates!
Good but needs improvements
Fri Aug 22 2025 crose318So the game itself is fun. I haven’t seen another game like it, which is awesome. But there’s a ton of improvements that are needed:
1. You can assign an idol to a new room/manor. But they’ll NEVER stay there. After they come back from a concert, they’ll choose a room at random, forcing you to click through every house you own to find the idol you want.
2. The ads, omg. Please create an add-on to skip/remove ads. It’s unbearable. Literally everything in the entire game is an ad. And not two or three then an ad. It’s one ad for every click/purchase ever.
3. There’s an odd number of levels. At level 6, I have maxed out the houses you can have and have nearly every single idol except 5 (and no, they aren’t the S tier). So what do I do next? Unless I feel like decorating their rooms (that they won’t stay in), there’s no point to keep playing.
4. Oddly, the idols can go to level 50. But my highest level is level 5 and I’ve reached the max unlock for homes.
5. Once an idol is hungry, you can’t click them to view their profile. It goes straight to you choosing food. You have to either exit out, find the book, then their card and click to read. THEN go back to feeding them. Or, you have to search the web for the answer. Too many clicks to do small things.
6. Needs more item variety.
7. There are broken ads. You watch them and then you don’t get your reward, even 5 mins later. It’s painful to play.
Amazing Game! A Few Bugs
Thu Jan 16 2025 meadea3This is an awesome game, I love the designing of the game and the ability to interact with the boys! The reward system is good and I like the ad options a lot, and the clothing options as well! It’s really fun and exciting! There are a few bugs, like when I close the furniture catalog it sometimes leaves the pictures of the furniture overlaying everything else, and I have to reload the app. When you click on the purple book and then click on a profile, the art of the singer is pushed to the right and covers the level of the singer, making hard to see the level and enjoy the art! I also noticed that I can do everything but move furniture with my Apple Pencil, even if I long press. My Apple Pencil can click and do anything else in game, so maybe it’s the game not registering it? Otherwise the game is really fun and I love this concept, great job!
Should not be 9+
Sat Aug 23 2025 CloudreviewsIm an adult that loves K-pop and I recently watched K-pop Demon Hunters and I loved it and I wanted to see if there was K-pop games and I found this and I’ve been playing it for a couple weeks and it’s amazing. But it should NOT be 9+. There’s different personalities for the different characters like sweet, smart, sassy, etc. One of the personality traits the game has for characters is Sexy, there’s nothing wrong with that of course but that’s absolutely not appropriate for children so it shouldn’t be rated for a children’s game. It’s not like it’s one thing. It’s the literal personality. The characters talk aswell and you can guess that with the different personality traits they say different things. You can understand where im getting. There’s no like adult content at all it’s just suggestive. I mean 2 of the characters have visible v-lines. Good game. But it should absolutely not be 9+
Love
Tue Aug 27 2024 JulayyyaThis game is so cute and I love the gameplay so far. I find it easy to get gold and gems without feeling like I’m being slowed down in the gameplay by not spending money to get more. I love all the little idols animations and getting to know them is such a cute functionality. I am so determined to figure out all their favorite foods. I did find a couple bugs so far I think, like the little descriptions on their info pages getting covered up by their stats, and the fact that I can’t seem to take down the wallpaper on the right wall, it’s stuck there permanently so I can’t put it back in my inventory and move it to the new dorms to decorate. I also kind of wish we had an open wall concept option like with PocketLove so I could more easily see my idols and the decor in the rooms.
Cute but needs some things
Sun Dec 01 2024 JaxC2007I love this game so much! It's like the idols are my babies and I'm taking care of them! But I have a few things that I think would make the game a bit easy and more fun.
Leveling up the idols is one of the things you need to unlock stages and more buildings. You need idol photo cards and need to train them to level them up, but getting the photo cards isn't a guaranteed thing. You can watch an ad for one once you unlock an idol, but after that you have to use gems to get one. Even then it's not guaranteed! It's either a card or an idol that you won't be able to take care of cause there's no room for him in the office! 😭
The bond between you and the idols is something I just don't get. So far for me it doesn't severe a clear Purpose, you know?
cute but boring T_T
Thu Aug 15 2024 bewknskakaodmndnwThe premise is really fun and at first its a cute management sim. But after a while and after needing to watch thousands of ads in a single day, it’s kind of lame. It’s only just come out so I’ll it give some grace.
I’ve had multiple idols in need of baths as soon as I was level to ready them up, but there is never an option on the shop to buy a bathtub. Necessities like the toilet, bathtub, etc should be in their own category like food and then the more dressed up versions on the rotating store. It’s annoying. The requirements for leveling up are a bit too lengthy at low levels and it basically requires you to watch ads if you want to complete it and continue improving your company.
Please, add more interesting gameplay and beginner friendly excitement. This is such a cute idea but more could be done!
So Far, a good game!
Tue Aug 13 2024 MiroBlessingi love this HyperBeard’s games they’re so cozy and adorable, so engaging and entertaining as well! i downloaded a bunch of them overtime not realizing it’s by them! been waiting for the release of this game and it’s understandable to have a few bugs on the first day. like the furniture that i got for pre-ordering the app is not functional sometimes. the little characters glitch and look stretched a bit. i’m looking forward to the but fixes & new additions in the future. i also love that there is no constant ads popping out and that if i can use ads to gain certain items which i definitely am, also the pack prices are very reasonable but again i been playing it for less than a day so far and will keep updating!
Adorable and amazing!
Tue Aug 13 2024 EllaKaeRThe wait is up! We finally get to try K-Pop academy, and let me tell you, it was definitely worth it!
Before I start, I just want to say, I love this game company! One of my favorites, actually. Their games are simple yet fun and always offer a great time!
Now, about K-Pop academy, The art style is amazing, and I love the art of the characters! I can’t wait to see what other characters they add! The mechanics are great, the music is simple but fun, and everything just seems to be great! This is an amazing idle game and may become one of the best. And the fact that it climbed the charts so fast just proves how many people were excited as me for this!
One idea I have is maybe a social media account, in game of course (if it’s not been implemented already), where you could post pictures or even videos of your idols! You could probably earn these pictures by doing tasks, gaining fame, or simply just spending time with your K-pop stars, just to name a few ideas.
That’s all I have for now, keep making amazing games for us!
