The Werecleaner is easily one of the most creative indie titles I've played this year. You play as a janitor who just happens to be a werewolf, trying to finish your shift during a full moon without getting caught by your coworkers or accidentally eating them. It’s a brilliant 'stealth-comedy' that balances tension with hilarious slapstick moments. One minute you're mopping up a spill, and the next you're diving into a trash can because the night shift manager walked by while your tail was wagging.
The level design is intricate, offering multiple paths to complete your tasks. Do you take the risk and clean the main lobby while the moon is bright, or hide in the vents? The 'transformation' mechanic is the star here—learning to control your wolf-side's speed while managing the clumsy human-side's cleaning tools is a joy. It’s stylish, funny, and surprisingly deep. A total gem for fans of games like Untitled Goose Game or Hitman.
Now this is something I can actually respect. The Werecleaner takes a ridiculous premise—a werewolf janitor—and actually builds a functioning stealth game around it. Most mobile games these days are just clones of clones, but this has some actual creative spark. You're trying to mop floors and empty bins while managing your inner beast, and the tension of a coworker nearly walking in on you during a transformation is genuinely well-handled.
The humor is dry and hits close to home for anyone who's ever worked a soul-crushing office job. Mechanically, it's solid; the stealth isn't groundbreaking, but the added layer of 'cleaning' adds a nice frantic pace to the proceedings. It’s not a massive triple-A experience, and the visuals are stylized rather than high-fidelity, but it knows what it is and does it well. It’s one of the few mobile titles I’ve played recently that didn't feel like it was just trying to reach into my wallet every five seconds. A solid, albeit short, experience.

The Werecleaner is a stealth-action game where you play as Kyle, a janitor working the graveyard shift at a high-tech office building. The catch? It's a full moon, and Kyle is a werewolf. You must complete your cleaning checklist—mopping floors, emptying bins, and fixing leaks—all while avoiding security guards and employees. Use your werewolf senses to track movements through walls, but keep your feral urges in check, or you'll leave a mess much worse than a coffee spill.
Hilarious stealth-based gameplay
Dynamic 'Full Moon' transformation mechanics
Interactable office environment
Multiple endings based on your 'cleanliness'
Use your 'Wolf Vision' (tap the icon in the bottom left) to see the patrol paths of the security guards. This allows you to mop the high-traffic hallways right after they pass.
A meter at the top shows your transformation level. If it fills, you become faster but much louder. Eat 'calming snacks' found in breakrooms to stay in human form longer.
It's an immediate Game Over, unless you can reach a hiding spot within 2 seconds to 'disguise' yourself.
