Rotate the Rings is the kind of game you see in an Instagram ad and think, 'I could do that.' And you can. For about twenty levels, it’s a reasonably satisfying way to exercise your spatial reasoning. The mechanic of interlocking rings is clever and reminds me of mechanical puzzles from my youth. It’s clean and the logic is sound.

However, the game hits a wall very quickly. Once the novelty wears off, you realize every level is just a slightly more annoying version of the last. It lacks a true 'hook' or sense of progression. It’s the digital equivalent of a fidget toy—fine to keep your hands busy, but don't expect it to leave an impression. It’s a 50/100: perfectly average, perfectly forgettable.
