Pull Pin: Home Escape is a clever, narrative-driven take on the 'pull the pin' puzzle subgenre. While the core mechanic will be familiar to anyone who plays mobile games, the addition of the 'Home Escape' storyline—helping a family rebuild their life—adds a much-needed emotional hook. As an expert in hyper-casual puzzles, I find the escalation of logic here to be well-paced.

The game does a great job of mixing environmental hazards like lava and water with enemies like thieves and ghosts. What I found particularly engaging was the 'House' meta-game; seeing the broken rooms become cozy living spaces provides a visual reward that keeps you clicking through levels. It’s a perfect 'commute game' that offers short, satisfying logic fixes with a charming visual wrapper.

You know those fake ads for games that look kind of interesting but aren't actually real? Well, someone finally made one, and it’s terrible. Pull Pin: Home Escape is a collection of the most basic 'puzzles' imaginable. There is no logic here, just a sequence of events that the developer programmed. If you pull the pins in any other order, you fail, but you don't learn anything because there’s no underlying physics or system.

It’s a wrapper for ads. You finish a 10-second level, you watch a 30-second ad. It’s an insult to the intelligence of the player. It has zero artistic merit, zero mechanical depth, and zero reason to exist other than to farm ad revenue. I’m honestly surprised it made it past review. A total waste of time.
