A Good Snowman is a masterclass in puzzle design. The premise is so simple—roll three balls of snow together to make a snowman—but the execution is brilliant. Because the snowballs grow as you roll them over snowy ground, every move you make changes the state of the board in a way that can both help and hinder you.

The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and heartwarming. Hugging the snowmen you've built is a lovely touch that makes the game feel personal. It starts out easy, but some of the later puzzles require some serious lateral thinking. It’s a quiet, beautiful, and deeply satisfying puzzle game that I recommend to everyone.

Dinsun here. This is how you do a mobile puzzle game. It’s clean, it doesn’t have ads, and the puzzles are actually challenging. It takes the old Sokoban formula and adds a layer of logic regarding snowball sizes that feels fresh. It’s quiet and respectful of your time. My only real complaint is that it’s a bit short, but I’d rather have 2 hours of quality than 20 hours of filler.
