Dinsun here. Tokyo Debunker is exactly what happens when the art department outpaces the game designers. It looks fantastic—the character designs and atmospheric environments are top-tier for mobile. But once you peel back the anime aesthetic, you're left with a very standard gacha loop and a narrative that moves at a glacial pace. The 'gameplay' is largely automated and exists only to gate the story behind power levels and pulls. As a 40-year-old gamer, I find the lack of agency insulting. It’s more of a high-budget interactive catalog than a game. If you’re here for the husbandos, you’ll be happy; if you’re here for a game, look elsewhere.
