I'm probably twenty years too old for this. Sweet Dance is less about the music and more about how much money you're willing to spend on digital wings and sparkling outfits. The rhythm mechanics are serviceable but lack the precision of a serious music game like Taiko or even older DDR titles.
What really grates is the social 'fluff.' The marriage systems and 'crew' politics are a distraction from what should be the core gameplay. If you enjoy anime-style dress-up and chatting with strangers, you'll find plenty to do here. If you're looking for a tight, skill-based rhythm challenge, you should look elsewhere. It's flashy, noisy, and expensive if you let it be.
