We’ve all played Piano Tiles. We know how this works. Piano Tap: EDM doesn't do a single thing to change the formula. It just swaps out the classical music for some loud, generic EDM tracks. The rhythm syncing is mostly accurate, which is the bare minimum for this genre, but it lacks the soul of a true rhythm game like Guitar Hero or Beatmania.

The visuals are flashing lights and neon colors—flashy, but ultimately distracting. It’s an okay way to kill time if you like the music, but it feels like a product designed for an audience with a five-second attention span. It’s functional, but it’s completely uninspired. Another entry in an overcrowded genre that does nothing to stand out.
