ScourgeBringer in IOS

Fastpaced roguelite platformer

Walkthrough, Guilds, Tips on this special game

Our Site Score

93/100

ScourgeBringer is quite simply one of the best action roguelites on the mobile platform. Described as 'Dead Cells meets Celeste,' it delivers on that promise with some of the most fluid, fast-paced combat you'll ever experience on a touch screen. The movement is incredibly free-flowing; you spend more time in the air than on the ground, dashing and slashing through enemies in a frantic dance of destruction. The touch controls are remarkably well-handled, but the game truly sings if you connect a controller.

The art style is a striking, high-contrast pixel art that perfectly complements the post-apocalyptic setting. The boss fights are a particular highlight—massive, screen-filling machines that require absolute precision to defeat. This is a game that demands skill and rewards mastery. It doesn't hold your hand, but every death feels like a lesson learned. With an adaptive soundtrack that shifts based on your combat performance, ScourgeBringer is a sensory and mechanical tour de force that every action fan should own.

Dinsun Review

Dinsun. Now we’re talking. This is how you do a mobile port. ScourgeBringer is punishing, fast, and incredibly satisfying once you find your rhythm. The movement is the star here—you’re rarely on the ground, dashing and slashing through enemies in a way that feels like a violent dance. It requires a level of focus that most mobile games wouldn't dare ask of their players.

The pixel art is top-tier, and the soundtrack pumps the adrenaline exactly when it needs to. My only caveat is that it really should be played with a controller; the touch controls are as good as they can be, but for a game this precise, they still feel like a compromise. It’s a tough game, and you will die a lot, but every death feels earned. This is a rare 80+ from me.
