Good, not great
Tue Aug 23 2022 aNNa153This is a great mindless game - once you get the strategies down for the 5 or 6 maps, you won’t lose. I have played this game 1000s of time and am sad to say that the rankings aren’t real, which you may notice based on how you go up with each one. The game will freeze your ranking at #11 and you can see the names of the top 10 are randomized every time you log in. The basic gameplay and the boosters are great (really like the new boosters just added). However, the tournament and base building aren’t really thought out. Tournament puts you in the same map with the same randomized computer AI players where the ranking is meaningless. You can build your castle to the max in like 50 or 100 rounds, then you are hoarding coins for no apparent reason. Overall, I like the base game, but the other features seem to be haphazardly thrown in with no real thought process behind them. Also, the game crashes at least once a day which is annoying.

Thu May 19 2022 Don_warrior44This game is pretty addictive especially once you master how to win, regardless of where you spawn in. My problem is that it’s impossible to get ranked in the top 10,000. Also, there is no benefit to earning tokens are your one castle is built. The AI chases blocks regardless of if it kills them. Start every game back going to the other side and gathering as many blocks as you can. It’s not about who gets big fast. It’s who get the biggest period. I won 100 games in a row. The same 4 levels play in repeat. There are no new levels. I eventually got bored and deleted it.

Thu Jan 16 2025 SmallhossThe gameplay is simple and fun and this could be a great game but….it is inconsistent and really just doesn’t make sense. 1.) the game is scored by the levels of your castle. I have lost multiple games despite having more levels than the opponent. And this isn’t me counting, there is literally a chart that shows the score at the end and frequently I have more points but still come in second somehow. 2.) when you run into someone you drop all your bricks, except occasionally they drop their bricks. Have tried to figure out what determines the winner in this little exchange for days, no clue. It isn’t based on health or anything. Doesn’t appear to be random because more often then not I lose mine. No idea. 3.) the ratings and players are all made up, just bots. You’re clearly not playing against real people ever.
Overall this could be a mindless fun game, but it’s just annoying how inconsistent the rules and scoring are. Deleting after this.
It was fun, after first- but the ads killed it!
Thu Dec 26 2024 Mandala221I’d like to start off stating that I don’t mind ads.. granted, I don’t LIKE them, but I don’t mind them.. in some games I play, I watch an ad after nearly each round just to double up on points/currency, etc, though they’re not forcing me to watch them mid-round.. This game, however, will FORCE YOU to watch multiple ads DURING the gameplay while playing against other players. I’m not sure if the others (if they’re even actual players) are having to watch ads at the same time but I don’t like it, either way. So far I’ve only made it to level 6 & I’m tired of all the ads. Each level I was forced to watch 3-4 ads before the rounds were over. That’s just too much! Make it force them AFTER the rounds- NOT DURING!! Due to that, I’ve deleted the app. Clearly I’m not the only one with an issue with all the ads.. But I’m sure there’s another one out there like this one that isn’t so ad-happy.

Sat Jul 09 2022 Cheatsy_doodlesI don’t know what the other reviews are about… the game isn’t optimized so you end up lagging mid game (I’ll explain why). The mechanics are clunky but the premise is absolutely there.
The problem is that within the first two minutes of the game I clicked on one ad but was forced to watch two more. Post level multiplier on currency is fine whatever. However right after watching the multiplier I was forced to watch another ad before a level transition. Then after collecting approximately 20 of the planks on the ground the game then forced me to watch another ad… mid match with other players. To address the lag earlier, I know exactly when ads were being forced as the game basically goes from 60fps to 2-5fps when the ad engine kicks in. This game needs a lot of work and a lot less ads.
Again premise is absolutely cool. Execution is not.
Could be a 5 star game, it . . .

1) the ads cause the game to freeze at the end of the ad causing you to close the game and reopen to lay again. I have a updated iPad Pro so it’s not y device.
2) the games re almost entirely AI players which means it isn’t set up for actually live play or there isn’t enough fan base currently , which could Eva result of the ad freeing and the ad timing. Which leads me to
3) the game will kick out an ad mid game or if you walk across one of the ad bubbles, it will stop to ask you mid game if you want to whatch an add for a bonus, this is possible because they are all AI players, it it still interrupts the game play and most times leads to the freeing issue I described in issue 1.
If they rebalance the game and look to make money of good skins and accessories, then they would eventually increase their fane base and prevent the higher turnover I know they must have.
Even if you pay for no ads, if you do a tournament. You will be forced to watch ads and eventually experience the freeing issue which causes you to restart the game voiding the tournament for you anyway.
It used to be a fun little game - so gave a 2.5
Fri May 20 2022 MzLiztThis game WAS strangely fun. But it also was a battery killer. And seems like a recent update has ruined it. I can handle an add before and after game rounds/levels, but now there are at least two to three video adds that randomly start mid game. And when each game is already as short as each little round is in this game, it’s super annoying and seems to cause the game to lag, as well as has made it an even worse battery killer. Which has pretty much ruined the game for me, to the point where I’m about to delete it.

Sun Jun 26 2022 Addie_1010Hi im just a teen trying to play this game and all there is is ads there is a banner of ads at the top and a ad that goes on in the middle of the game. There is a huge problem or unfair part it is when you are fighting against other people witch are obviously bots. They can go into your circle while you are still alive. This is so unfair because you can’t upgrade your tower and make it bigger without being shot and killed. Also back to the ads there is a ad before in the middle and at the end of games it is so annoying I hate this game so much so I am so disappointed of how it turned out.
