Maracaibo Digital is an incredible adaptation of the heavy strategy board game. Alexander Pfister games are notoriously complex, but the tutorial here does a great job of breaking down the 'sailing' and 'village action' mechanics.

The digital version is actually my preferred way to play because it handles all the setup and housekeeping of the 'Legacy' campaign. The AI is surprisingly tough, and the UI manages to fit a huge amount of information onto a mobile screen without feeling cluttered. It’s a deep, rewarding strategy experience that offers dozens of hours of play.
