Dinsun Review
Idle Fortress is a game that plays itself, which is the paradox of the genre I've never fully embraced. You set up your tower, watch the numbers go up, and then wait for your wallet to fill so you can buy a slightly bigger gun. It’s fine if you want something running in the background while you do actual work, but it’s hardly engaging.
The progression curve hits a brick wall fairly early, clearly nudging the player toward 'boosters' or ad-watches. The visual style is clean enough, but it lacks the tactical variety found in classic Tower Defense titles. It's a standard numbers game disguised with a bit of particle effects.
