I’m probably too old for this. FNAF 2 isn't scary so much as it is incredibly annoying. It’s a resource management game disguised as horror. You spend your time clicking between cameras and putting on a mask in a repetitive loop that becomes a chore rather than a thrill. The 'fear' comes solely from loud noises and things popping up in your face—the cheapest trick in the book.
From a design standpoint, it’s an improvement over the first one in terms of complexity, but the difficulty curve is ridiculous. It feels unfair rather than challenging. It’s built for streamers to scream at, not for people to actually enjoy playing. The lore is interesting, I'll give it that, but the actual 'game' part is a shallow, stressful mess that I have no desire to revisit. If you like high-intensity anxiety, have at it. I’ll stick to something with a bit more substance.
