Dinsun Review
I’ve played spatial puzzles that were masterclasses in design. This is not one of them. The core issue with 'Fit It' is that it fails the basic 'visual clarity' test. On several levels, you’re dealing with white pieces on a light background, or dark pieces that are indistinguishable from the board in dark mode. It’s a puzzle game where the main obstacle is your own eyesight.
To make matters worse, some levels have 'identical' pieces that can't be swapped. If you put piece A in slot B, it’s wrong, even if piece B and piece A look exactly the same. That’s not a puzzle; that’s a guessing game. It’s a shame because the early levels are actually quite relaxing, but once you hit the triple digits, the game design falls off a cliff. It feels like it was procedurally generated without a human ever testing if the levels were actually legible.
