★★★★★ It Makes My Phone Freeze
Sat Jan 22 2022 MIA HE MIA WHOAt first when I opened the game I was enjoying it, while other games like this seemed to play smoother this one had the graphics that were actually shown in the ad. I wanted the balls to look like marbles and this game actually has them look like that, whereas others portray that they have marble like balls and when you open their game it’s actually dull and not shiny or whatnot. So when I opened this game and saw that it actually was what was advertised I was really happy! It’d freeze up here and there but I didn’t have much of a problem with it. It came with many levels and during some levels you’d have the very top row of marbles all having color and the rest being question marks that’d fade into another color after the top marble is removed. It’s kinda like a guessing round of matching the colors and I enjoy it well. However once I surpassed level 120 the game kept freezing up on me. Now my phone freezes up sometimes as well. I keep struggling to move the marbles whenever I want to play the game and I have to wait five minutes sometimes just for it to move or close the app and try again only to end up having to wait again (because no matter how many times I turn my phone on and off and close the game and open it again it keeps freezing). Other times I’m a little stuck so I watch an ad to get an extra tube and it just shows a black screen or it doesn’t let me close the ad at all. It drains so much of my battery as well, I’m honestly considering deleting the app but I also am hoping that the developers will just fix the issues I and others have stated so that this game can get the appreciation it deserves once corrected, for if these issues did not exist this game would be a relaxing way to make you think about every move needed in order to clear the level and would challenge you in a way you wouldn’t expect to be challenging. You’d think a concept as simple as colorful balls needing to be matched together would be boring, but it really is a nice way to let go of some stress (and would be a nicer way to relax if these issues, as I previously stated, did not exist). So, PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEMS DEVELOPERS! I want to recommend your game to others and continue enjoying it, but I can’t recommend a game with such problems.
★★★★★ Anyone else have this problem?
Thu Nov 25 2021 letmebeanonymousforgodssakeI enjoy this game; I like that there’s no timer or penalization for using the extra tube and it doesn’t matter how many moves it takes to complete a level, so it’s very relaxing in that way. It is kind of addictive though. There are WAY too many ads, so I kill the app after each level and this game drains my battery like crazy. Here’s my big problem with it that I want to know if anyone experiences: it gives me headaches! I have to be VERY careful about how long I play, how long I look at the screen before I have to look away for a while because otherwise, I get nasty headaches behind my eyes. I’ve been “experimenting” with this and, while this can happen regardless of what I’m doing on my phone, it happens so much faster and so much worse when playing this game (maybe 20 minutes of this game vs hours doing anything else). This has never happened to me before! I don’t know if this can be fixed, but if it can’t, I’ll have to find a version that doesn’t do this to me or else give it up altogether. As fun as it is, it’s not worth physical pain.
★★★★★ The ads…
Thu Jun 23 2022 Matt the gcilI liked this game, it was fun, I loved no limit on moves and it was just nice overall. I’m pretty used to ads cause most app games have them so that wasn’t the biggest deal. However, I find the ads to be fatphobic and horrible promoting a fat burning gummy to lose 50-70lbs in three days, which is INCREDIBLY harmful. I’ve googled the gummy’s and to no surprise it’s a scam. Not only these horrible diet ads I keep getting but there are way more ads to this game than any other app I have. They’re way too long as well and when you try to close them the screen to add them keeps popping up. Again, I get they need ads but this many is over the top. It’s annoying and makes me not want to play this game or any of the games they have ads for. The game also glitches and freezes after a certain amount of levels. I almost paid for no ads but glad I didn’t after reading these reviews since it doesn’t get rid of them. This game, especially for a neurodivergent person like myself, is super nice and calming.
★★★★★ Don’t
Thu Jan 04 2024 notyourbusiness67You have to watch an ad to do anything in the app, they also purposely make it to where you will need extra spots so you have to watch ads whether you buy no ads or not. And once you’ve been playing this game for a couple days, the ads start glitching out and won’t play and you have to close the app entirely. The app also drains your battery like crazy, your phone will be at 70% and then 20 minutes later be at 25%. It also overheats your phone causing the app to lag even if you’ve only been on it for 10 minutes. The developer will not respond to you or try to help you as other reviews have said, because they don’t care. The ads are what makes them money so they’re not gonna fix the main issue no matter how many people complain. You’re better off finding a different sorting game and leaving this one alone, there’s a reason it’s not 5 stars and I’m willing to bet any reviews that are higher than 3 stars are either people getting paid or fake reviews, usually ratings with no review attached as well. Just don’t.
★★★★★ Game choked by R-rated ads at level 105+: Unplayable
Tue May 24 2022 CvonD1Thank you for reading this message.
I wanted to alert you that the game is unplayable in its present configuration: although I happily agreed to contribute to your "no-ads" nominal fee, interstitial ads are now forcing me to quit every single time I try and back-track my steps. The low-resolution ads do not go away, they are violent (i.e., I cannot play with my 9-y-old (ads describe shooting ,knives, killing, gore, attacks, blood, violence etc.), completely inappropriate to share with her.
On another hand, the game is great, it is a perfect strategy game that I wish I could enjoy and teach my little niece, but she is completely turned off by 1) the lie (no ads) and 2) the lack of discrimination on your part to let your advertising program run roughshod over you and take over without any sort of filter or oversight on your part.
I am convinced there is a solution to this situation, as this is a problem that can be remedied by seriously reviewing your advertising stakeholders' strategy.
Noticing that this issue seems to be shared by many users here, can you please respond as soon as you possible with a solution that 1.) honors the no-ads policy, 2) removes any interstitial ads, and 3) restore the game to a playable state.
I will expect your response offering a solution before deciding to flag the game.
I hope you understand I am submitting this request respectfully, and a big thank you to your team of game designers, writers and coders who worked really hard to provide hours if fun for us the users.
★★★★★ Good game, wish a problem.
Sun Aug 06 2023 blackfist999I love this game. Now just for clarity(so the app store can’t use this review for other apps.) the game this review is for is called: Color Sort in your game library but, Ball Sort Color Water Puzzle, in the app store. Way too many ad’s in game. Thankfully it’s only $2.99 to eliminate ads. But unfortunately that only removes some of the ads, I’ll admit it’s way less ads but ad free should be literally ad free. I’m not impressed. But this is hardly the first app I’ve encountered that does this. The only app I know of where ad free really is 0 ads is idle miner tycoon. Great game, but constant offers of things to buy in game. Now back to the current topic; Other than that one major problem the app would be 5 stars.
Nabroc is my name backwards. It’s a name from The LORD Jesus’s teachings. I hope that tidbit eliminates any thoughts that I’m a bot. Sorry it doesn’t flow at all.
★★★★★ Enjoyable Game But Uninstalling
Sat Aug 27 2022 Granny’s ColorsPlaying the Ball Sort Water Puzzle game was a pleasure to play. I enjoyed the puzzles, the colors, and the surprising challenge of a game seemingly so easy to pickup. The frustrating aspects of this game have finally rendered this game virtually unplayable. No soundtrack, cheap sound effects, and lacking in thematic elements defuses the entertainment potential for the game. The advertisement engine is broken; most often felt with the Gardenscapes family of advertisements. A two to three minute delay in watching unwanted content. The static interstitial banners capture the player in a circle of clicking, what is usually, the close button sending her back and forth between Ad and AppStore. When finally able to return to the game my frustration leads me to close the game rather than playing on.
★★★★★ Ball Sorr
Mon Jun 05 2023 Temp ReviewerThe game is fine, the ads are the worst I've ever seen, even if you purchase no ads. That only exempts you from the initial ads. To get an extra tube - essential on most levels - you have to, you guessed it. Watch more ads. If you need the space for an extra ball in the extra tube, you have to watch more ads. They are hideous ads, too. No opt out after 30 seconds. For most you can't walk away and remove them when you get back, as they have stages that require input before the ad moves on, sometimes for three or more stages. And if you have already purchased and installed something for which there's an ad, the app is too stupid to know it, and will continue to slam you with the ad regardless. Twice I asked the developer for assistance, never got a reply. They have no interest in helping. I'd have given less than one star if that was possible. It's the most ad-choked app I've ever seen. No way around it.
