Edit:I just saved up to buy my first character, Elione the blademaster, and she is AWESOME. Game introduces new characters through the storyline, instead of them appearing out of nowhere…. It’s so immersive. And even though the game isn’t finished yet, there’s still a lot of content and variation behind the seemingly simple fight mechanic. It varies per character, but you can have a combo of skills, passives, and runes, that are perfectly tailored to specific bosses. Also, the core spirit is really mean, but with practice and some luck you can get past him. This only really applies in fractures though, as there he has way more health. Also, I know I already said, but Elione’s introduction, move set, and optimal strategy are so cool. There is an in-game shop, but you don’t exclusively need any of it and progression is just fine without them. Right now, there are limited game modes, but It’s still fun to try out builds. The “main Character” Novu, Elione’s brother, has a simple move set, is not very complex, and is well-rounded in general. This makes him great for the first character you have, as he makes it easy for you to learn the game’s awesome and creative combat mechanics. Sometimes it may feel like your stuck, but with practice, and maybe some luck, you can progress. I think I’ve been talking for too long…. Bye!

There’s very few ads which is a huge plus, and even less micro transactions, and the ones that do exist are either negligible or are perfectly reasonable such as buying the different characters. The amount of skill and element combos make each run feel fairly unique too. I’m definitely looking forward to what the devs have planned for the game, and if they end up reading this I’d like to make a few suggestions. First is an expanded story as the story is limited to just the first few runs and ends after the first successful one. I also think adding in a longer mode with more areas (like the islands, forest, and temple) would certainly help the game as well. Having the longer mode as part of the story would definitely fit too. I’m sure more skills, characters, and possibly elements are already in the works so I’m interested in what comes out.

Could be seen as good or bad (depending on play style):
- I would say this is more a strategy game than a skill game. The game auto targets enemies so most of what you do in a fight is dodge which does take quite a bit of skill but not to the level of most Rogue like. Given that this is a mobile game I actually really enjoy the simplicity of the fight mechanics. I think they struck a good balance between difficulty and actually do a really good job at making a mobile Rogue like fun. Most of the skill that comes into this is knowing what Element/weapon/armor fits your play style and will maximize your damage output.
Cons:
- I really appreciate that the adds in this game are pretty minimal and that you can really have a ton of fun in this game without paying a dime. Still though the only way to completely remove adds is to pay a monthly subscription plan. This is especially annoying because on each quest you have an option after one death to get an extra re-spawn by either playing a video or using in game currency. I really wish there was a one time payment of like $10 to remove all adds from the game. I would totally do that but a month long subscription for around the same price is just crazy.
Overall I would highly recommend this game.

Tue Feb 06 2024 OA RetributionUnfortunately at the moment the game is very short, but from what we can see so far: it’s amazing. The art is great in my opinion and the animations look fluid as well.
With one character you can play the game completely free and upgrades for this character can be grounded for without wasting too much time. The ads are not egregious like many other free games. There is a battle pass (I get it’s a live service game, but I am not a fan of single players games having one) and two characters (at the time of this review) which you can unlock by paying money.
The gameplay is addicting. I love the runes and skills. When you combine the right skills with the right runes, you can really feel powerful. I also like how all runes feel like they have a purpose and play to different play styles. Some are worse than others, but overall they feel great. I think a couple more skills could be introduced to make them more interesting, but the ones that are there are good enough.
The enemies are varied and challenging. I like the bosses a lot too. The levels all feel different. The challenges once you beat the story are actually challenging. They can feel overwhelming when a lot of them are on screen, which is actually good.
I’m not too familiar with the gear system at the moment, but it’s fine. I personally enjoy the ones that are skill based (the one that rewards dodges and blocks is my favorite personally). I think more gear that are skill based should be introduced in the game.

Sat Dec 07 2024 HearthfireAngelThis is such a high quality mobile game, and it was very fun to play! Unfortunately, there’s currently not a lot of content. Within 4-6 hours of gameplay, I’d unlocked everything that was available. However, it has some amazing potential! The randomized enemies and encounters on the levels were always fun, the abilities were easy to grasp and provided so many combinations with the various elements and skills, and the meta progression is just straight dopamine, being able to increase your stats to seemingly ridiculous values! Overall, it is such a fun game, with the quality of a PC roguelite! I just hope to see a ton more content in the future, and hopefully an endless mode or a survival mode.

Sun Apr 07 2024 SmasherGamingThis game is incredible. There’s practically no aggressive microtransactions or forced ads in this game, which genuinely helps with the flow. With this it’s already one of the best roguelites on the mobile market. The gameplay genuinely interesting, with the spell and weapon system adding a bunch of different combos that just feel satisfying to pull off. There’s quite a lot of enemy types, each adding something new to the table. There is one big flaw, and a major one at that, the bosses. They’re very lazily implemented and are just larger, more annoying versions of already existing enemies. Every single boss just spams down enemies, which is incredibly frustrating and downright unfair some times. The final boss spawns these little turrets that are very tanky and more spawn in before you can kill them all. If the bosses were reworked and given more unique AI, this game would be the best mobile roguelite I’ve played.

Fri Jan 26 2024 JontaiiI have just reached the first main boss. I died. I have to say the game is quite good.
The combat is simple yet engaging because of the triple skill system. Some attacks charge, some move your character, and some attack in certain patterns. So mindlessly spamming won’t get you very far, you will get hit by telegraphed attacks.
The game actually has a story, and I found that refreshing for a mobile game. It’s engaging as well, gives you a sense of purpose for going through the same levels, getting stronger each time.
The enemy diversity and movesets are varied and difficult. You have to move your character tactfully and attack precisely to deal actually deal damage without dying.
The game strikes a fairly good balance between easy and hard, leaning more towards the hard side.
Art style and music is charming as well.
There are apparently three playable characters, but they appear to only be purchasable with real money which it is what it is, the game is free. Perhaps I will unlock them later.
Things I want to see as I play to be 5 stars:
• I can unlock characters for free later
• Story length of good measure. Clearly they wanted to tell a story, i hope it’s fleshed out.
• More than the 4 or 5 current elements I can equip to my skills

Sun Jan 14 2024 Blackleg eastwardI absolutely love this game. It’s right up my alley. However, there is one enemy that has lowered the rating for me. The invincible-slime spawner. The little guy in the green cloak that spawns slow slimes that cannot take damage and move towards you. The spawning happens at a medium range and it is impossible to interrupt while his shields are up.
In short, this enemy is a flow stopper. To me, this game is most fun when you get in a combat flow. You can be pummeling a crowd of enemies and this guy can be in the mix, then the next thing you know, a slime spawns on top of you. If you were mid swing on anything but the simplest attacks, then you can’t dodge it. If you do, you just have to run around until it disappears, and HOPEFULLY you have enough time to take down the spawners shield but you probably don’t.
Altogether, I find this enemy anti-fun and I hope you rework it a little to make more sense with the rest of the enemies.
