Let's be completely honest with each other: nobody is booting up Cookie Calls expecting a groundbreaking masterpiece of game design. It's a standard, uninspired puzzle mobile game wrapped in a cookie aesthetic that has been copied and pasted a thousand times across app stores. As a 40-year-old gamer who has seen the evolution of puzzle gaming from Tetris onward, playing something this derivative feels like a complete waste of time.

The mechanics are functional, the visuals are generic, and the progression relies on the familiar drip-feed of difficulty spikes designed to nudge you toward microtransactions or ad viewing. It doesn't break any rules, it doesn't innovate, and it certainly doesn't respect your intelligence. If you have an empty slot on your phone and an absolute aversion to deep video games, it will pass five minutes. Otherwise, skip it without a second thought.
