Burgle Bros is one of the best digital board game ports I've ever played. It perfectly captures the tension of a high-stakes heist without the clunkiness of physical pieces. The game is a cooperative 'stealth' experience where you and your team must navigate a three-story building, crack three safes, and escape to the roof—all while avoiding guards who move in semi-predictable but often terrifying patterns.
The digital version adds a layer of polish with its 1950s heist aesthetic and smooth animations. Every 'tile' in the building has a unique trap or utility, from motion sensors to secret passages, which makes every game feel like a different puzzle. The AI of the guards is relentless, and the 'Heat' system ensures that you can never feel too safe. It’s a brilliant mix of strategy, luck, and push-your-luck mechanics that will satisfy any board game enthusiast.

Burgle Bros is a cooperative strategy game where players act as a team of master thieves attempting to pull off a heist in a highly secure building. The building has three floors, each with a safe that must be cracked. Players move through a grid of tiles, uncovering security alarms, cameras, and guards. You must work together to bypass security, find the safes, and make it to the roof for a daring escape. With unique character abilities and procedurally generated layouts, every heist is a new challenge in this critically acclaimed digital board game.

Choose a team of characters, each with a unique special ability (like the Acrobat who can move through guards). On your turn, you have 4 actions to move, peek at adjacent tiles, or crack the safe. Be careful not to end your turn in the guard's path, or you'll lose stealth tokens.

To crack a safe, you must first find the safe tile and then roll dice to match the numbers shown on the adjacent tiles on the same floor. Once all three safes are cracked, every member of the team must reach the roof tile to win the game.
