Look, at 40, I don't have time for flashy interfaces that hide the actual data I need. Word Lookup Pro is a tool, plain and simple. It does exactly what it says on the tin: it finds words. The search algorithms are snappy, and I appreciate the inclusion of multiple competitive dictionaries. It’s a clean experience without the modern plague of intrusive ads.

However, it's hard to get excited about a glorified database. It lacks any sort of modern polish or 'game' elements that might make me want to spend more than five minutes in it. It’s useful, but it feels like software from a decade ago. It won't win any design awards, but it’ll help you win your Scrabble match, which I suppose is all that matters to some.

Advanced Search examples (Search Tab):
Use ? or [space] as a wildcard for one letter, and - as a wildcard for any number of letters.
Example: l??kup returns linkup, lockup, lookup
Example: -gry returns angry, hangry, hungry, puggry

Advanced Anagrams examples (Anagrams Tab):
(1) Use a ? or space as a blank letter
Example: XZ? returns ZAX, ZA, AX …
