Really good game!
Fri Mar 15 2024 jerrytfdAlthough it’s a copy of spore, I’ve always wanted to play spore but never had the money for a pc or anything! Thanks to this game I finally got to experience it. Well, half of it. The start of the game is like the start of spore where you are in the ocean, but when you evolve it starts to give you clash of clans, monster legends or games like that vibes. I’m not saying that’s bad but it gets boring after a while so that’s why I gave it a 4 star rating, I just wish it was like… how do I say this? More adventurous! Like the original game, where you could freely roam this world and make friends. Now that sounds fun! I understand why you can’t do that though, because you would most likely get sued or some sort because then it would be and exact copy. Overall it’s a really good game, download it and give it a try! Btw I’m not a bot I really meant all of this.
I understand why there are so many 1 star reviews
Wed Mar 13 2024 Drunken game playerFirst off I loved the first part of the game I kinda wished they stuck with that aspect. After the first part your greeted with one of the longest and most boring tutorials I’ve ever seen in the mobile game. But, despite all that I love the great freedom this game gives however this is why I will only give this game a three star and not a four or five. I can over look the switching of the game to give the player more options and I can overlook a long tutorial but the customizable character was one of the most confusing things I’ve ever had to do in a video game.
I wanted to do purely customize, my own creature, but I found it incredibly challenging to do so. And if I didn’t have a safe character I would have just a blob with eyes and a mouth. No matter what I did. I could not find a way to add legs or arms to my character. Maybe I just am not the brightest. But the way that if you give this amount of customization to your player base, it should be easy to use.
I think that you will have a great game here and I will definitely continue to play your game if you fix this issue. Thank you so much for the entertainment.
Good but room for improvement
Wed Mar 13 2024 SparklespeedI write this review as a hardcore fan of Spore. Played this game for about an hour for reference. I knew right away that the gameplay for the cell stage was nearly identical to the 2008 Spore game created by Maxis. Even the sound effects in cell stage were identical. But just like Spore, the cell stage is pretty cute and enduring. You can customize your cell anyway you like which is also a stable in Spore.
However, after cell stage, the gameplay transforms into this is isometric defend the point game, along with gatcha mechanics to recruit new allies. While it is a huge plus to be able to continue to customize your creature, the “creature” stage has very linear progression compared to Spore’s open ended creature stage.
Gameplay might appeal to some, but if you saw the ad and thought this would be a new spore game, you’re about…40% right. The charm and character designs are very similar to Spore, but gameplay after cell stage is not spore. If you like this game, you’ll definitely enjoy Spore. A game like this just made me wish that a polished Spore game had rose beyond the 2010’s. But I’m glad that this exist and that some people will enjoy it.
Spore but worse
Sat Mar 16 2024 A Cat Filled With RiceThe game is way too overbearing with the tutorial and it goes on for much too long. Forcing the player to be handheld through every single feature gets tiring and I couldn’t make it past chapter 4. I get it’s a game targeting kids but I don’t think there’s a child alive who is as stupid as this game thinks it’s players are. Almost every action is forced on the player and it’s incredibly boring. The characters, sound design, and dialogue scenes are painfully mediocre at best and cloying and incredibly irritating at worst.
The creature designer is finicky and difficult to use with any sort of precision. Even doing something as simple as giving your creature a tail and putting something on the end takes an annoying amount of trial and error.
The cell stage is rather fun, even if it’s just an incredibly paired down version of the cell stage from spore, and a lot of the design elements and all the creature parts are just directly ripped from that game. If you think this is a good game, just buy spore for PC instead and you’ll genuinely have infinitely more fun.
Came for Spore Left for Dragons of Atlantis +
Fri Mar 22 2024 Dixie ganticA lot of people are complaining about the game starting off as Spore and then turning into some other thing and while the UI for fighting at times isn’t the clearest I will say my attention span has been able to fixate on this game for like 2-3 hours which I haven’t been capable of in a while. I even took small breaks that just felt like gaps between me and this game which basically made me more productive since it just became a means to an end to get back to this game , as for the game it’s an all in one, it’s a meditation , it’s NOT social media , it’s a chance to express creativity through creation and is honestly what spore could’ve been. It would be cool to link my game to my laptop or something tho but great game overall
Amazing
Fri Mar 15 2024 MechaDerpI really enjoyed Spore and have been longing for a sequel, and I have been very disappointed knowing that it’s never going to happen. Most evolution games I’ve seen don’t come close to capturing what Spore was. I thought replicating the feeling that playing it had was impossible. This game does seems like a rip-off at first, especially the cell stage which didn’t seem to hide its similarities. However, despite this, I believe the game’s quality is so high that any resemblance can be forgiven. After all, blending old ideas to create something new is valid. This game is the closest I’ve found to recapturing the feeling of playing Spore. It makes me want what the future of evolution games will come out to be. 5 stars!
If you get through the Tutorial…just kidding! YOU CANT!
Tue Jan 06 2026 sandoodle2DO NOT PLAY UNLESS YOU WANT EVEY CHOICE CONTROLLED BY A LONG TUTORIAL AND LIKE TO WASTE MONEY ON BAD GAMES!!!! This game is cool, well the idea of it, at least. It’s similar to spore I played as a kid. However, for god sake, stop with the obnoxiously long, boring and stupid tutorial!! The tutorial is designed in such a way that it takes you through every little tiny feature. It’s sooooo long. It’s like the creators believe their players are stupid like a rock! The player has no choice over their creative output or to make choices in the game. Even if somehow, one manages to go through the extraneous boring tutorial and ends up in the cell stage, the tutorial never ends! I’m actually upset because the ability to express creativity is surpassed by the tutorial. The game forces the player to choose according to the tutorial. If I could give this no starts I would. Indian one more thing. This game is designed to get as much money out of the player as possible with forced tutorial.
The first part of the game was the only fun part
Thu Mar 14 2024 CJvoshIn the beginning, the game is exactly as it was in the ad, where you custom build a feature, and every decision you make matter, you add spikes for defense, you can add various types movement body parts or mouths. I was so excited to try all of these things. But within 5 to 10 minutes of playing in this mode, they automatically evolve you and transition you to land, and the game turns into one of those typical builder games where you don’t get to make a lot of decisions and you just tap on things to progress through the game, and you get a bunch of rewards for the minimal amount of effort, which takes allchallenged awy. Dear developers, please stop acting like all your players are three years old, make games for smart people who want to be challenged.
