Our Site Score

78/100

What The Clash - Intro is a wonderfully chaotic bite-sized brawler that instantly hooks you with its vibrant art style and fast, punchy mechanics. As an early introductory version, it does exactly what it sets out to do: deliver quick bursts of pure multiplayer adrenaline. The physics feel delightfully floaty yet precise enough to reward skilled positioning and well-timed strikes.

While the character roster and map selection are somewhat limited in this teaser format, the underlying gameplay loop is incredibly strong. Knocking an opponent into a hazard or snatching a clutch power-up right out of their grasp feels deeply satisfying. It's a fantastic foundation, and I can't wait to see how the developers expand on this solid groundwork with more content in the future.

Dinsun Review

The software titles coming out under the "What The..." banner usually pride themselves on deliberate mechanical instability, and this entry takes that philosophy straight into the auto-battler space. You pick your units, attach ridiculous gear items like giant fish or exploding umbrellas, and hit play. Watching the ragdoll physics resolve is mildly funny for the first three matches. After that, you realize you aren't actually playing a strategy game. Because the physics calculation models are so loose and volatile, planning an actual line of defense is completely pointless. It’s an interactive screensaver.

Overall Stats

Pros & Cons

  • Unpredictable and amusing ragdoll interaction states
  • Genuinely creative weapon and gear asset designs
  • Complete lack of genuine strategic depth or tactical forecasting
  • Win conditions feel heavily dependent on physics bugs rather than choices
  • Menu interface elements feel basic and unpolished
