Voidloop is an absolute masterpiece of indie game design that will completely captivate fans of atmospheric titles like Portal or Monument Valley. The central time-loop mechanic is introduced beautifully, starting with simple tasks before evolving into incredibly intricate spatial riddles that require intense concentration. The moment when a complex, multi-stage solution clicks into place is incredibly satisfying.
The game's presentation is stunningly low-key. The beautiful ambient soundtrack combined with its clean geometric architecture creates a hypnotic, meditative atmosphere that lets you focus entirely on the logic at hand. It stands out as a highly unique puzzle experience on the App Store that shouldn't be missed.
Puzzle games built around abstract temporal or looping mechanics always catch my attention, provided they respect the player's intelligence. At forty, I prefer puzzles that make you pause and think rather than relying on quick reflexes. Voidloop offers a striking minimalist aesthetic and genuinely clever logic puzzles that test your spatial reasoning.
That said, the difficulty spikes abruptly, and the lack of contextual hints can leave you staring blankly at a screen with no clear path forward. It's an admirable indie effort that deserves credit for avoiding predatory microtransactions, even if its abstract presentation won't appeal to everyone.

Voidloop is a cerebral, avant-garde puzzle game built around the concepts of temporal mechanics and geometric physics. Players navigate abstract structural mazes where every action is recorded and repeated by a temporal clone. By interacting with gravity switches, pressure plates, and reality-bending portals, you must orchestrate perfect coordination between your past and present selves to unlock the exit mechanism of each shifting room.
Mind-bending time-loop logic puzzles with elegant layouts
Stunning, atmospheric minimalist aesthetic and ambient soundscapes
Fluid touch-based puzzle mechanics with zero frustrating timers
Dozens of deep, increasingly complex geometric structural levels
If you find yourself stuck on a heavy multi-switch lock, stand on the primary gate plate for at least five seconds before moving. This gives your recorded loop clone enough time to hold the gate open for your active character on the next cycle.

Run through a room to execute part of a puzzle, then trigger the loop mechanism. Watch your recorded ghost retrace your steps exactly while you navigate new paths opened up by your past actions.
Most levels limit you to two active loop ghosts to keep the puzzle solutions clean, deliberate, and highly strategic.
