SO MUCH FUN!!
Sat Apr 06 2024 Teacher&MomAnother Update:
I’m still LOVING this game. Pay the $7 to remove ads, it’s worth it. The levels get harder, the time gets shorter, the ropes have to be placed precisely sometimes but that is part of the challenge!! Patience people, patience! Keep playing and you will get it. I’m on level 723 and it’s taking me longer now to get through the levels but that is part of the fun. Everything can’t be easy people!! Enjoy the challenge of things.
UPDATE: PLEASE PLEASE REMOVE THE STUPID EMOJI at the end of each round! It’s soooo annoying!! Don’t listen to negative reviews!! I’m on level 150 and while I did pay to upgrade for no ads (I hate ads), I have never had to purchase any extras to get to level 150. I have spent .99 cents twice to play for an hour without worry about losing lives but that’s only because I was waiting and figured it would be a great time killer. I’m 100% convinced that it takes patience to get through the levels. I’ve had to play the hard levels multiple times to memorize the easy way to untangle certain parts, so you slowly work your way through the really hard levels. I’m actually really glad you only get 5 lives otherwise I’d probably be playing for hours straight!! lol I highly HIGHLY recommend this game but bring patience or better yet, learn it. Too many people lack patience so this is a great game to learn patience. Have fun!!!
Fun but needs work
Tue May 07 2024 beechhous4I actually love the concept of the game. Thoroughly enjoy the challenge of untangling the ropes. That part gets a no-brainer five stars. With that being said I am frustrated and disappointed that it is quite limited. Why are there no life rewards? And I do take advantage of the free offers which is to watch minutes of ads’ videos to get fifteen minutes of play only to have the “free” fifteen minutes to be eaten up by more videos. Free play should be just that—free time to enjoy the game—especially when one watches ads to get it anyhow. And the gosh-awful amount of time it takes to get another life!! I mean really? 30 minutes for each new life? I can deal with the ads okay. But waiting hours just to have five lives back— pfft!! I enjoy the game but it gets a bit repetitive and redundant. And, no, those two words are not interchangeable!! The game could be a fav for many if it was more consumer friendly. Just add some perks that are actually attainable! And I even looked at buying some of the coins, etc. but that is limited—needs more variety. I hope my suggestions don’t fall on deaf ears or blind eyes. You got a winner in this game if it has some serious tweaks worked out. I’m staying for a bit longer but as with many others that I have read their posts—-it is limited to how long. Hoping for some change!
Like the game but….
Thu Jan 11 2024 Alini3It’s a fun challenging game. My problem is the movement, when I go to place piece if it’s not exactly precise it won’t go where I want it. I understand there are some strings under tension and have a limit to their travel but these are ends That have slack and should move to any one of the spots near by and I’ll waste valuable time on the harder levels trying to get ends placed and then run out of time I also don’t care for the clear greed of the app, 30 minutes to get a heart back before I play again but if I buy add on at an insane price The if you watch am ad you get 15 minutes of unlimited play but have to wait six hours for that to be an option again. The game is fun but not that fun
Level 99 was my breaking point. There is no way to make it without using a bonus somehow. At that point I had to buy something to make it work. The pieces in the upper side of the map are so jumbled I could not get any end to move to another spot so I just kept wasting time eventually running out. I got tired of wasting two days trying the level and the delays I’m earning hearts to play added to the frustration with the game…..so I’ve deleted it
Was enjoyable until it became impossible to win…
Fri Mar 08 2024 amlester85I was enjoying this game fairly well up until I hit level 700. Yes, there are a lot of annoying pop-ups with this game—especially with always asking you to watch ads for things. There should be a “don’t ask me again” option. I don’t mind sitting through the occasional ad here and there, but being constantly asked to do it is very annoying. Also, really think the emojis are a crappy detail. And don’t even get me started on the issue with placing the pegs—I’ve lost levels because the darn thing won’t be consistent. You know where I’m trying to go, stop bouncing around!
Puzzle games are some of my favorite games to play, and while I love a good challenge, making something impossible to beat without having to buy more time is just ridiculous. The “hard” and “very hard” challenges were usually the really frustrating levels with lots of easier levels in between that made the game nice and relaxing to play (more or less), but once I hit level 700 even those became next to impossible without buying more time. It’s just so disappointing. I don’t need my games stressing me out more than I already am, and I just wish they’d give you more time or a no-time option all together. All this has made me go from playing daily to hardly at all now. Will likely delete soon. So disappointed.
Frustrated about # of ads 😫😤
Sat Feb 03 2024 4herfun** Update** Deleted the game, couldn’t take it anymore!
I’m a huge puzzle fan! When I saw the ad for this game I was like, “yes please”! The game is fun and keep getting more difficult as I progress 😌. The huge downfall is the number of ads 😫😤. I can understand an ad after a few puzzles solved, but after every, single, game, played?!? There are two options after each game I thought would help with this issue. First option is to receive all the points won if you watch an ad., and the second option is to receive half the point won to skip ad. I clearly selected skip ads. Yet, the ad plays and is as long as the live long day. It would be great if you’d allow players to skip ads for a few games than play the ad or even make the option after each game actually work. After the four or fifth game, issue the full points won and play ad without an option to skip. Let’s be clear, I know there is an option to purchase the game to avoid ads completely. With prices on everything going up, I can stand to watch an ad once in a while. Emphasis on once in a while! Not watching ads more than playing the game and longer than it takes to solve the puzzle. I’m not one for writing reviews, but this was truly warranted. I’d hate to delete the app, but with it operating as is, it’s causing more frustration than relaxation. Hope to see changes in the next update!
Fun game but will cost you
Thu Jan 04 2024 YoboobiesThis is a fun game at first but the hard levels are almost impossible to beat without spending money on extra items. After awhile I found the game to be stressful and not relaxing. If someone took this concept and made a game that was actually paced to the users progress it would be such a fun game. Or just have you the option to play the puzzles. They start quickly reducing your time and increasing the difficulty so you will buy in app purchases, which is fine, but they don’t give you barely anything and it will make you mad to no end. Not at all what a game should do. I deleted the app because it quickly became frustrating and boring when they don’t pace the progress through. You don’t get much for the app purchases, one of the more expensive games I’ve played as far as in app purchases. Quickly lost interest. Wish someone would come up with this game where you could just figure out the puzzles (tangles) and it wasn’t making it difficult in an attempt to get you to buy in app purchases. The ads are constant. Nothing relaxing or satisfying about this game after level 20 or so. I waisted money hoping it wouldn’t be so frustrating after several more levels. I’d pay monthly for an app I just enjoyed playing and was challenging but not frustrating and the app purchases cost waaaay too much.
Free???? It will eventually cost you to play and it’s not cheap.
Thu Jul 04 2024 boatflI absolutely love the game, but the price to continue is going to cost you in bucks and/or frustration. You’ll end up having to to keep playing the same game over and over until you FINALLY WIN without having to pay $. To continue to keep playing, you have to spend 1st 900 points, then if you fail, it’s going to cost you 1900 points to keep playing to win to get points or rewards. It takes forever to build up any points. Most of the time, it’s 15-30 points at a time. Ridiculous payout. The ads are long and annoying, so you’re going to want to pay to get rid of the ads….$7.99. The best thing going is the scissors to cut a rope. The game is very stingy with those as a reward. I’m up past level 221. You basically have to win 4 games in a row to beat the game and win a reward. You’ll get very tempted to pay their high price for so few points, considering you spend 900 at a pop if you don’t win the first time.
One last note on this game…they have ads on my other games and I can’t close them out so I just end up stopping that game and going on another game that hasn’t been hit yet with their ads. I don’t play games a lot, but when I do, this is the only ad that is sooooo annoyingly impossible to close out MOST of the time.
Fun…Til’ It Wasn’t!
Thu Mar 21 2024 SmoochylipsI was excited for this game and really started to enjoy it. I would have liked some rules, like why do bands turn colors or don’t apparently go into some holes but also what the bonus things do. Make sure to read everything and be super careful NOT to “accidentally” hit the buy 20 seconds for 900 points, that ate away my points three times because I was playing on my phone and hit the button by mistake.
Takes way too long to earn points, ads are ridiculous, and I have no problem paying for an Ap to get through levels but there are levels that even with purchases you can’t pass. And give me something when I spend money. To pay and get two items but it will take you 5x’s that to possibly use to win is ridiculously greedy.
I love a good challenge and enjoy puzzle games but the timer is ridiculous and makes the game stressful and more of a race game. Limited moves to make it a challenge or give that as an option would make this better. Although, some game glitches kept me from even moving into an open hole. I just got frustrated and mad….those are two very big reasons NOT to play this game. I want my games to be a distraction and fun. I deleted it but am still grumpy and came back to write a review because it had so much potential. After seeing a bunch of other reviews, guess I am not alone!
Like most games: too many ads
Sat Jul 06 2024 ButMadNNWI was all set to write a review about how the ads weren’t that bad, really, that there were optional ones you could watch for rewards but that was about it. And then I hit level 70something and it started: puzzle, ad, puzzle, ad, puzzle, ad!
Couldn’t even build up the goodwill a bit more by easing the transition with an ad after five puzzles or so, could you? You just had to dive straight into an ad after every puzzle! The puzzles aren’t that long (especially with the sometimes insanely-short timers they have), so having an ad after every puzzle is too much.
I’ll have to think about whether this game is worth the $8 blackmail to avoid ads. I certainly have games I enjoy more that asked for less money. For now, playing a puzzle and closing the game when the ad starts works pretty well, but how long before I “forget” to open it again? So many app devs think they’ll get us hooked enough or frustrated enough to be willing to fork over money, failing to consider the possibility that they’ll just annoy us enough to walk away.
Fun game but glitchy ads
Mon Aug 26 2024 Cz LifeI paid to have the ads removed from this game but I still click on ads to double the rewards. Many times the ads get locked up so not only do I watch the ad for longer (especially annoying when I’m in the free play for 15 minutes), but I don’t get the reward AT ALL… not even the original reward. I have to close the game to get it away from the ad. I contacted support twice to alert them of the problem and no one answered. Considering it takes 900 coins to buy extra time and as I am on the higher levels, it takes multiple time to get through one level, I need all the coins I can get. I have purchased the golden ticket and the unlimited play for an hour from time to time, so this game is not free to me. Additionally, I started playing on my iPad to see if the game was easier when I have a bigger screen (it is). I noticed that when I got to a certain level (somewhere passed 450) on my phone, the levels now require me to get through 3 screens of tangles per level. It is nearly impossible to do without extra time even after playing it multiple times. On my iPad, I am on level 529 and have yet to see a 3 tiered level. Why would it be different on each device?
