True Skate+ is hands-down the best skateboarding game on mobile, and the 'Plus' version is a dream come true for fans. In the original version, unlocking all the different parks and brands could cost a small fortune. Here, you get everything. The physics are the real star; there’s no 'button' for a trick—you have to actually perform the movement. It has a steep learning curve, but once you land your first clean tre-flip down a 10-stair, the sense of accomplishment is unmatched.

The graphics are incredibly crisp, and the sound of the wheels on concrete is perfectly captured. I love the addition of the DIY mode, which lets you turn even a simple warehouse into a complex park. The replay editor is also surprisingly deep, allowing you to make actual 'skate edits' that look professional. It’s a game of skill, patience, and creativity. If you’ve ever touched a skateboard, you need this game. It’s an absolute masterpiece of mobile simulation.

Dinsun here. This game is frustrating, difficult, and brilliant. It doesn't hold your hand. You can't just mash buttons to do a 360 flip; you have to actually learn the physics of the board. I respect that. In an era of 'auto-play' mobile games, True Skate demands skill. The visuals are aging a bit, and the monetization (paying for new parks) is a bit annoying, but the core 'feel' of the skating is unmatched. It’s more of a toy than a game, but it’s a high-quality toy.

Tips

Learning the Flick

True Skate is all about physics. To perform a Kickflip, swipe down on the tail to pop, then quickly flick your finger off the side of the board. The speed and angle of your flick determine the height and rotation. Practice in the Underpass park to get your timing down before heading to the harder street courses.
