Visual novels live or die by their writing quality. Toxic Love fails utterly on that front. The dialogue reads like poorly translated soap opera scripts, and the choices offered to the player are laughably forced. Calling these love interests 'dark' is a generous term for poorly written archetypes.
To make matters worse, any choice that actually advances the plot favorably requires premium currency. Paying money just to pick a sensible dialogue option is absurd.
