Now this is more like it. A puzzle game that actually requires you to use your brain for something other than reflex-testing. The 'time ghost' mechanic is a classic trope—I remember games like 'Braid' doing it better years ago—but it’s implemented here with a level of care that’s respectable. You have to plan several steps ahead, and the puzzles get genuinely tricky in the later stages.

However, the 'Pocket Edition' tag comes with the usual baggage. Virtual joysticks are a poor substitute for the precision this game demands. I found myself fighting the controls more than the puzzles occasionally. The visuals are clean but feel a bit sterile; it lacks the atmospheric punch of its PC counterpart. It’s a solid game for the thinking man, but it’s best enjoyed with a controller if you can manage it. At least it respects your intelligence.
