The 1% Club is easily one of the most refreshing 'trivia' games on the App Store because it isn't actually about trivia. I’ve always been frustrated by games that just ask for dates or names I can't remember. Here, everything you need to solve the problem is right there on the screen; you just have to be clever enough to see it.

The tension as you move from the 50% questions down to the 10% is palpable, even on a mobile screen. The UI is sleek and mirrors the show's high-tech aesthetic perfectly. It really makes you feel like you're under the spotlight. My only gripe is that some of the visual puzzles are a bit tiny on an iPhone screen, but on an iPad, it’s absolute perfection. Highly recommended for anyone who thinks they're the smartest person in the room.

I'm usually tired of trivia games that just ask what year some king was born. This game is different—it’s about how you think, not what you know. I respect that. The structure mirrors the show well, and the difficulty curve feels honest. When you fail, you usually realize you were just being dense, which is the mark of a good puzzle.

The multiplayer aspects are a bit hit-or-miss with some lag in the menus, and I’m wary of the 'lives' system that tries to push you toward IAPs. It’s a solid app for a morning coffee, but I wish the presentation felt a bit more premium. It feels a little 'TV tie-in' cheap in the UI department.
