Space Agency is a surprisingly deep and scientifically grounded simulator that successfully turns rocket science into a compelling mobile game. It manages to balance the complexity of orbital mechanics with an interface that is accessible for casual players. As a simulation expert, I was impressed by the mission variety—you aren't just launching rockets; you're docking modules, managing fuel levels, and constructing an entire space station.
The 2D graphics are clean and prioritize readability, which is crucial during high-stakes maneuvers like atmosphere re-entry or orbital burns. The game demands patience and precision; one wrong thrust can send your million-dollar satellite spinning into the void. It rewards 'trial and error' in the best way possible, teaching you the fundamentals of aerospace engineering through pure, addictive gameplay. It is an absolute standout for anyone who has ever looked at the stars and wanted to be mission control.
Look, I’ve seen enough 'space games' that are just shooters with a black background. Space Agency actually tries to make you work for your orbit. It’s got that old-school PC sim vibe where a single mistake in your burn timing means you're floating aimlessly in the void. I appreciate the mechanical depth in the rocket building, but it lacks the polish of modern sims. The UI feels like it was designed in a dark room in 2012, and the difficulty spikes are more frustrating than rewarding at times. It’s a competent tool for enthusiasts, but don't expect it to hold your hand or offer much in the way of excitement outside of the 'Eureka' moment when you finally dock a module.
The mission variety is thin. Once you've launched one satellite, you've launched them all. It’s a decent time-sink if you're the type of person who likes tinkering with fuel ratios, but for most, the lack of a cohesive narrative or better visuals will make it feel like a chore. It’s a solid effort, but it feels like a relic compared to what we have now on mobile.

Build rockets, launch satellites, create a space station!
Do you want to build and fly your own space rockets?
Of course you do!
Are you a billionaire?
No...that makes it tricky.
Fortunately, there is a way for us non-billionaires to run our own space programme...Space Agency!
* Build rockets
* Launch satellites
* Create a space station
* Explore the solar system
This is a highly challenging and complex game. Only the most talented astronauts should attempt it.

Space Agency gives you the keys to your very own space program. Your goal is to design and build rockets capable of delivering payloads into orbit. Once in space, you must master complex piloting maneuvers to dock with stations, land on distant moons, and expand your celestial presence. Featuring a robust mission system and realistic physics, the game challenges you to manage limited budgets and delicate equipment while pushing the boundaries of human exploration.
Complex rocket building system
Realistic orbital physics
Varied mission types (satellite launch, moon landing, etc.)
Build and maintain a persistent space station
Don't fire your rockets at 100% thrust the whole way. Once you reach the upper atmosphere, tilt your craft to 45 degrees to build horizontal speed. This 'gravity turn' is the only way to achieve a stable orbit without running out of fuel.

Space Agency 2138 is set in a not too distant future where you can build rockets, fly to other worlds, and mine for resources.

Patience is key. Use tiny bursts of your RCS thrusters to align your docking ports. Match your speed with the target station perfectly before making the final approach.
While it is a game first, it accurately teaches the basic concepts of staging, fuel management, and orbital trajectories.
