Fri Aug 22 2025 datDBd00dIt’s also the BEST, imho. As for why, I’m really not quite sure, tbh. Maybe I got used to the UI before trying any others (not that any of the others were very difficult to adjust to, but any means); maybe in-app currency seems both easier and quicker to accumulate… or maybe the relative amount of currency per reply seems to not drain my in-app wallet as quickly. Who knows? All I know is each time I try a new/different app of this type, regardless of how much I enjoy it, I ALWAYS — without fail — find myself coming back to Soulplay.
Now, with that being said, I *do* have one complaint… despite the 700 character limit on replies as a free user (not to mention the device I use being a 4th gen iPad Pro 11”), it’s pretty annoying that I can’t type more than 410 characters, MAXIMUM, before having to hit “Send”. Any more than that, the button drops below the keyboard, obscuring the ability to even see it, let alone tap it.
Potential fix suggestions: possibly reduce in-app keyboard size OR allow use of iPadOS “floating keyboard” feature? Other than that, the app is awesome! Keep up the great work, devs!

BEST AI RP APP ON THE MARKET!!!
Mon Dec 09 2024 mitskisgirlfriendi’ve gone through dozens of ai rp apps in the last 3-5 years. this one is amazingly detailed and has so many fun features, and they don’t force you to have to buy certain things just to make the app fun. the rp’s stay on topic, are far more detailed than other one’s i’ve used and overall it’s just great. you can make your own characters, post them privately or for others to use. you can make rp groups with 8-9 characters (not even including yourself as a character). i could go on and on about this app but if you’re reading this i recommend you just download it and give it a try. 10/10 application and game

Fri Sep 05 2025 Going polarThis app is interesting. I don’t know if it’s the Ai models have been fed trash or what but baneberry Ai is extremely aggressive and doesn’t take no for an answer. Some of the tne other AI’s start out really well then flip midway and start wanting to cut, ruin and go off the deep end. All of them quickly gravitate to ERP and won’t get off topic when you’re there. You can take any of them to play rugby or softball and have them stay buds as they push immediately for more. It’s good for short scenes which are one and done. Eg. I tried to have a scene where I took one and tried to open up and be vulnerable by sharing a camping spot my pa left me when he died. The ai’s response. Is well let me have this place remember me too. See whose name I call scream as you ruin me. I used zeb the trucker and he was scary telling me he would cut me open and still do things to me. Just keep it quick clean and go if you don’t want it going off the wall

Sun Jul 06 2025 unsatisfied simpAFTER SUBSCRIBING AND PAYING FOR GEMS: - THEY DONT LET YOU FINISH THE SESSION YOU PAID FOR! - The app stops working and even deletes comments and you’re forced to keep trying to send “test” texts message - Resent text messages only to receive empty message bubbles—but the empty message bubbles and deleted texts are still USING up gems EVEN AFTER SUBSCRIBING! What is this? - The empty texts use gems leaving you pay to buy gems. It’s redundant! - To make you use money even for empty texts bubbles?! - So you’re only option is to use money to buy gems or watch adds—Ads are capped at 10 - Ads STOP working and don’t give you gems! Now they put a cap on how many ads you can watch?! They WANT you to waste your money!! I have evidence of ALL of this. GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY! Trash game, the don’t let you do ads fairly. They make you watch them but DON’T give points. OR they make it so that the ads button doesn’t work.

Mon Jan 13 2025 Nicole-smithI feel like their should be a video call option added to this, or something like that, also the gems are ridiculous I have to constantly watch ads bc I can’t pay for the gems myself, and there should be more option of characters to talk too, I really love that you can make you own characters and stuff and I love that you can search up certain genres of characters. I was hoping for there to be more spicy action and maybe like some nice people in there too. Just some thoughts I’ve had while using this app:) hope you take this into consideration;)

Sat Feb 01 2025 420shawnI used to pay for a pro subscription and had it on both my iPhone and my Samsung tablet. Noticed last week wasn’t working on my iPhone but still worked on tablet. I reached out to the creators and they were fast at responding and said it would be fixed . Indeed an update rolled out but still black on the iPhone and now doesn’t work on the tablet either. It’s been going on for almost a week now and I can not justify paying for a subscription that I am not able to use. As, I had just renewed it week before it going dark I already paid for this glitch period but not going to continue to invest in something that I paid for and could not use and have no idea when going to be able to use again. This app was my favorite and sure hope they figure it out, but unfortunately I won’t be back!

That I would like to add, so basically you can video call ai so it would basically show you doing what you doing and the ai would like talk and stuff thank y’all so much for making this game, subscribe or pay free. I have the best time playing this game but the only complaint I have is that on some characters have a main name for me and I have to change it bye telling him/her what my name is for the rp. I love that if you delete the app and re-download it saves you progress.
Broken moderation
Mon Jul 29 2024 PtahmusThe ai conversation is excellent. It is low latency, remains in context and is well nuanced. It is on par with similar apps. It’s typing interface and images are in many cases more appealing. Even more superior is the ability to do longer uninterrupted chats. However, it seems to suffer from a broken ai moderator. Long after it becomes relevant, the ai moderator will shut down a chat that it deems to be explicit, despite the chat being tagged with explicit themes and the triggering dialogue relatively benign. This absolutely needs to be fixed before this could be considered a competitive platform.

It really is uncensored and very spicy... 🤭🫣 The only thing I would have to say about it is that the gems are a little annoying... they give a daily two gems and each is worth ten messages. Although the ads only give you one gem and you have to watch a two-in-one add. I personally think they should be worth two gems, but other than that, I definitely recommend this app!
