It doesn't try to reinvent the wheel; instead, it provides the most polished, customizable version of Klondike Solitaire available on the App Store. Look, it’s Solitaire. We’ve all had it on our computers since Windows 95. This 'Deluxe' version doesn't reinvent the wheel, nor should it. The cards move smoothly, the 'winning' animation is fine, and the customization options are decent enough. It’s exactly what it says on the tin. However, there are already fifty thousand Solitaire apps on the store, and many of them offer more features for free.

My biggest gripe is the 'Deluxe' tag. It feels like a way to justify taking up space in a saturated market. It doesn't have the personality of some of the more modern takes on the genre (like Solitairica), and it doesn't have the legacy of the Microsoft version. It’s just... fine. If you happen to download it, you won't be offended, but you won't be impressed either. It’s the gaming equivalent of a beige wall.
