★★★★★ Great, but needs work

When I was younger I played this game a lot, to the point my mother had that iconic song stuck in her head. I recently got this game to revisit one of my childhood games. I love this game! I play it when I’m bored, and when I don’t have Wi-Fi, I find this game to be the best endless game to play. Although this game has its flaws. One of the quests in this game is to “go 3 km without riding animals or vehicles” I find this quest impossible because I just can’t avoid all the animals because there are too many, and the quest is now forever on my quest list. These quests also include world-specific quests that I cannot complete without getting the world.. which goes to 20,000 coins. Now I have 3 quests that I cannot do. I think this game should have a option where you could pay in game money to skip a quest. But overall, I think Ski Safari is still a great game, even now playing it 7 years later.

So, I love the game. Great ideas (I was going to write other review but the App Store "accidentally" deleted it).But there's something wrong. So I had to wipe my phone and back it up then re-download my stuff. So when Ski Safari loads I go and open. Then it shows me the tutorial. I was like "huh, okay I guess with the wipe it reset some stuff like that." So I started a run, and when I collect my first set of coins it says "-51,370 coins" So I was like "What the ****?" And when I finished my run it said my rank was "Pack Leader" yet I already was past the rank "Wing Man" Please fix this so I can give it a 5-star! Update: Everything is working normally!! I only give it four stars because of some of the impossible tasks or those that require buying things from the store to complete means you can't really get much past the rank of "Bat Man" Other than that the game is mostly good.

★★★★★ Fun but impossible

There’s challenges in the game which when completed you rank up and unlock new characters and locations. Great concept except there’s a challenge that is literally impossible to complete. You have to go a very great distance without riding any animals or vehicles and if you stumble it resets the distance meter which to me is down right ridiculous. The closest I’ve ever gotten is about 2/3 of the way before either I stumble or in a position where I cannot jump over an animal. There’s no way for me to contact the game developers to see if it’s just a glitch and there’s no option to skip a challenge by either paying with coins you’ve collected or in app purchase. Long story short fix the glitches and I’ll play again, otherwise this is garbage and not a good gaming experience. Don’t waste your time or even money on this because you will just get stuck and frustrated.

I love ski safari, but I did find 2 bugs in the short amount of time I’ve owned this game. The first bug, if I remember correctly, was when using the eagle and smash into the ground at the right angle you would be sent underneath the map. The second bug was when I was a penguin and then switched to another, but instead of switching to one, it tried switching to two at the same time, as there were to of them. Other than that best ski game.

So much fun this app is tight, love the scenery love the simple tap to navigate. The graphics have this joyous winter feeling, you feel the cold when you play. Sound effects are so cool love the hairy snow monster dudes sounds and the points totals and awards are a blast. I also love you can play and win environments for Halloween and Christmas...Nothing more fun than jumping off a ledge and flying thru the air doing somersaults !!!! But you have to land on your skis or Mr. Avalanche will come get you... Thanks for the Joy!!! James M

★★★★★ Ski+Safari= Super Fun Game! Tiki Time Clarebear

Let me just say this game is awesome and doesn't have much in-app purchases, which is the best part. I'm a kid and can't spend money because I have a parental lock system, but you can earn coins on your own and that is great. But one thing, I can get bored with this easily. It's the same routine over and over again - Sven wakes up, crashes, gets up, boards a penguin... yeah yeah. Make it more unpredictable please! Anyway, great app, I love it.

I love this game, but either the last app update, or the last iOS update has killed the audio on this game. I’m on iPad Pro 9.7 even deleted and redownloaded the app, still no sound at all. Edit. Apparently the sound was my fault. The iOS update tuned on silent mode on my iPad, but not all apps went silent so I thought it was just ski safari. Just figured it out. This game is still amazing!
