Seal of Fate tries to mask its shallow systems with flashy particle effects and 'dynamic' camera angles, but once you strip away the bloom, there's nothing here that hasn't been done better a decade ago. The combat loop is repetitive; it asks for 'skill' but really just asks for your patience—or your wallet. The story is a collection of every tired trope in the book: ancient seals, a chosen hero, and cardboard-cutout villains. It’s functional, but it’s completely devoid of soul or a unique identity. If you're looking for a serious RPG, this isn't it. It's just more mobile noise.
