Dinsun Review

Look, Rummikub is a fine board game. This app? It’s acceptable. Dinsun here, and I don’t care for the 'High Roller' nonsense or the constant push for daily bonuses. The interface feels a bit dated and cramped on a phone screen. It does what it says on the tin, but the digital experience lacks the tactile satisfaction of real tiles. The online matchmaking is decent, but be prepared for opponents who take far too long on their turns. It’s okay if you must play on the go, but I’d rather have the box at a table.

The First Move

To make your initial meld, you must place tiles that total at least 30 points. Once you've made your 'initial move,' you are free to manipulate any tiles already on the board. Look for opportunities to break apart existing sets to add your own tiles and clear your rack.

Gameplay is all about efficiency. Keep an eye on the timer—you only have a limited time to rearrange the board. If you can't make a move, you must draw a tile. The game ends when one player empties their rack, or the pool is exhausted.
