Dinsun Review
I wanted to like this more. The dinosaurs look fantastic—the animations and textures are some of the best I've seen on a phone. There’s something undeniably cool about being a T-Rex in a lush forest. But as a game, it’s often a walking simulator with occasional bursts of panic.
Growing your dinosaur takes forever. It’s a repetitive cycle of gathering nuts or mushrooms just to see a tiny sliver of progress. And if you run into a group of higher-level players, you’re basically a snack. The 'survival' aspect feels more like 'waiting' most of the time. It’s technically impressive, but it lacks the tight gameplay loop that keeps me coming back. It’s more of a virtual diorama than a compelling survival game right now.
