Thu Sep 16 2021 Rick_2121Do not get rid of the SkyFury club. If anything either the Rocket needs to go, or when in play mode only pair up people who are on the same level of play. That way each person should have the option of using the same clubs as the person they are competing against. It’s not fun when I’m on Level 6 and I’m playing against someone on Level 8 and they can reach the green on a par 5 in one shot using the Rocket and it takes me 2 shots to reach the same distance because I didn’t spend actual money out of my pocket upgrading my clubs. Also, I think when playing the daily challenges, the better you do the greater the rewards should be. That way I’m not just getting a Silver pack for getting a hole in one. It should be a Diamond pack for hole in one and at least Ruby for an Eagle or so forth. Great game though. I’m addicted for sure!

Fri Jul 19 2019 jjspkdIf you are someone who is looking for a golf game to play for 10 minutes a week then this is a good choice.
However, the logic of the design is deeply flawed. The object is to level up so you can obtain new clubs, courses and so on. In the beginning it is fine. You level up by getting coins that are obtained through opening card packs which are won in solo challenges, Dailey challenges and heads up play. In order to level up your golfer, you must level up your clubs. The developer says each level should take 3x’s as long as the previous to advance. Here is where the problem starts.
There are only so many clubs available to level up. You receive about 70 points for leveling up a club when it cost 1000 coins. The next level is 4,000 then 10,000 and then 25,000. Logic would follow you should receive 1750 in points for spending 25,000 coins. Nope you get 200 points. So it took no more than a week to move a level in levels 1-5. However, I have been on level 6 since March. I have never missed a daily challenge, always finish 1-3 in my clubhouse (rankings from heads up play), and have completed ever solo task except two which I do not have the correct club to do because I can’t reach level 7. I am only about half way through level 6. I feel like I have invested a bunch of time and can’t move any further. Hopefully they update the app and improve on this silliness. If they do I will change the review.

Sun May 21 2023 THE BES MOOII spent weeks on this game trying to get my rank up higher and higher. When I broke 20k I was so happy. I was on this game for 3 hours one day and I kept on getting little things popping up about something not saving and then I get on the game later to see all of my progress had been lost and there was no other way to sign in because it wouldn’t let me. Whoever made this game I hope that you go to bed tonight and both sides of your pillow are warm. I was about to get in the top 10k and u ruined my life. Now I have to download a different golf game. Hopefully the next one doesn’t delete all of my progress like this one did. This game was so stupid anyway. You beat everything so quick and the holes aren’t even accurate. The tournaments are even worse. Whenever you tie with someone they put whoever did it faster in the best spot. Like what? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. To whoever made this game; I hope you step on a lego; I hope you stub your toe; I hope you trip infront of your crush; I hope you miss a spot while shaving and someone points it out; I hope you get a big fat juicy pimple on your nose so you look like Rudolph; and I hope you have a stuffy nose. That’s all.

Mon Dec 20 2021 Virgil Kane Is My NamePlayed this game for awhile. Great graphics and for awhile I was impressed with”realism.” You May get lots of perks (e.g. free club rentals) along the way. But then I hit Level 70 and things really changed. Suddenly, unless I purchased clubs, I was relegated to the basic clubs and things got wildly off-the-charts bad. I’d play the wind and elevations like I always did, but all of the sudden 17-19 mph headwinds would t matter…I’d overshot the greens. Or with very slight headwinds of 5-7 mph, my iron shots would end up unrealistically short. Game has just not been fun anymore & I won’t fork $$ over for it. Call me cheap. Yeh… go ahead. I’ve heard that others have experienced the same thing, which is why they start other accounts. Makes sense… I sometimes would get beat by people at the “hack” level that were ridiculously good and accurate. There’s only one way they could get that good at those levels.. they e plated extensively before, like me, the algorithms kick in & you begin to become wildly sucky. Slices, hooks, putts that I use to easily make suddenly are missed with aplomb. Been fun WGT… time for me to move on to something new.

Sat Apr 30 2022 bookfreak9This is a game with potential, but in the end is just disappointing and a waste of time (and money if you decide to spend any for upgrades). It could be fun as a version of golf with some fantasy based clubs and play, but in the end leaves you bored and annoyed at the constant barrage for funds and ads. I never expect a game to be free. I actually prefer games where I can pay for content up front and enjoy the experience. This is not that game. It is free to start, but there is no upgrade option. To advance you have to either pay big money (hundreds of dollars on in app purchases) and still watch ads constantly or be patient and spend month (years really, unless you spend significant money) to get anywhere. Without doing either, you will be set up against players with clubs that are far superior to yours and will leave you with little chance of success.
Again, a game with potential, but my advise is to avoid it altogether and not get strung along and sucked into the void hoping for random upgrades that never come or spending hundreds to get there.

Fri Jul 18 2025 dcbehanAs most people mention, overall a really solid game. Definitely the best golf game on the App Store in my opinion. Worth 4.5 stars as is.
Now my complaints:
- I do not want to see other players balls while I’m playing, ever. The control to turn this off does nothing. What’s worse, I have had to literally putt through another player’s ball as well as have had another player’s ball come screaming through while I’m mid-putt. In the game, it’s a distraction, adds literally nothing the game, and is entirely unnecessary in any event. Needless to say, this never happens in real life.
- The leveling up system is fundamentally broken. I’ve earned 10’s of millions of dollars in the game (weren’t that it was real life, lol), the best you can do to upgrade if you want to pay is 2k at a time, a click per = 100 clicks to go up one level. Worst is $20 x 1 x 2,000. That’s 2,000 clicks to upgrade. One level. Who’s going to do that? Only upgrades I ever get is what I win in tournaments. There needs to be a better way.
- Too much wind all the time. I get it’s part of the game. Fine. But it needs to be variable though. Not every course, every day has 10-12 mph winds. Mix it up. I have 100’s of balls that are basically useless given the constant wind.
Again, I play this game at least once a day, often several times and it’s fun and challenging. But these annoyances take away from it.

Having said that save yourself the time and money and do not download it!
My first account was accidentally deleted by concrete during their issue in July that deleted several players accounts. I sent them screen shots and a walk through of what I was doing so they could see what I was running jn to and what I got back was zero help from concrete help desk, their answer was to continue to try and make sure my Facebook was connected. I had invested over $20 into it at that point.
But I still liked to play the game so I started another account and then spent the gold to start my own clubhouse, after 6 weeks our club finally leveled up to level 2. With that level up our clubhouse was supposed to go from 20 to 30 members, this has yet to happen. I contacted support to find out why we can’t add any additional members and their response was “we know this is an issue and we are set to correct it in the 1.7.0 update, they are currently in version 1.6.4 so it will be atleast a couple of weeks”. It is very clear that concrete as a company doesn’t care about you as a player they only care about your money and collecting it while not delivering on some very basic features THAT PEOPLE PAY ACTUAL MONEY FOR THAT THEY KNOW DO NOT WORK!
Do with this info what you will but if I had to do it all over again I would have rather downloaded ANYTHING other than this game or any game by Concrete.

Played it and checked out of curiosity if it was working just to find that the game i chose that was at the time offered is now not eligible. Which is pretty shady to me. Other than that its the best golf game ive played for sure. You can play solo or against others. It doesnt force ads. You can skip the computers turn when you play them instead of having to watch every stroke. Its not cartoonish. Very realistic from the wind to even how and where you pull down on the ball to get back or top spin. And how to curve your shot. I do feel the shot arrow timing and slicing is too sensitive. It can be just next to the line and you slice pretty far off. I feel that needs to be fixed. Takes a few rounds to get the hang of it but well worth the effort. Strongly suggest this game to any golf fan.
