I tend to evaluate software on structure, depth, and replay value. ODDADA isn't really a 'game' in the traditional sense—it's an interactive sound sandbox. The tactical presentation is neat, and pulling levers or spinning mechanical gizmos to assemble ambient loops is genuinely relaxing for twenty minutes.
However, once the novelty of tapping birds and landscape gizmos wears off, you realize there are no real objectives, progression systems, or goals. It is fine for what it aims to do as a creative toybox, but mature gamers looking for structured mechanics or a meaningful challenge will find it lacking staying power.
