I haven’t laughed this hard at a mobile game in a very long time. My Voice Zoo is pure, unadulterated fun. The core concept of recording your own voices for lions, penguins, and bears is inherently hilarious, especially when you apply the built-in voice filters that turn your voice into a squeaky squirrel or a booming giant.

Beyond the brilliant microphone gimmick, there's a surprisingly solid little zoo management game running under the hood. Decorating habitats and keeping your guests happy provides a satisfying progression loop. It’s an absolute blast to play with friends or family, passing the phone around to see who can make the most ridiculous sound effect.

Dinsun here. My Voice Zoo is obviously targeting the preschool demographic, so I'm evaluating it through that lens. The presentation is actually quite nice—the hand-painted isometric forest looks clean and feels cozy to move through. The central gimmick lets kids record a sound, slap it onto an owl or a capybara, and hear it parroted back when walking past. It's safe, it's ad-supported but strictly stores recordings locally, and there are no stressful timers or complex rules. That said, it's incredibly thin on content. Once a kid records sounds for a handful of animals, they've seen everything the game has to offer within 30 minutes. It's fine for an afternoon of family amusement, but it's not a deep gaming experience.
