Merge Insect: Insect Fusion is a solid entry in the 'merge-and-battle' genre. Taking the familiar 2048-style mechanic and applying it to a swarm of creepy-crawlies adds a fun thematic layer. There’s something strangely compelling about merging two small beetles to create a giant, armored stag beetle. The battle phase after the merging is short but provides a nice payoff for your strategic placement.

The art style is clean and the insect designs are actually quite cool, leaning more into a 'fantasy' insect look than a realistic one. It’s a great game for casual strategy fans who enjoy the sense of progression that comes from seeing their units evolve.
