While the original was a sliding puzzle, this version leans more into the 'shoot and merge' or 'drop and merge' mechanics seen in modern hyper-casual hits. You shoot number tiles from the bottom into a grid, aiming to hit tiles of the same value to merge them into higher numbers. It adds a layer of spatial awareness and aiming skill to the purely logical challenge of the original game.

The '2248' style connection mode is also included, which allows for long diagonal merges, making for some incredibly satisfying chain reactions. The visuals are clean and minimalist, which is exactly what you want in a puzzle game that requires focus. There are boosters like 'Hammers' and 'Swaps' that help you out of tight spots, but the game is balanced well enough that you don't *need* them if you plan ahead.
