There are literally thousands of these sorting games cluttering the App Store, and Loop Sort does absolutely nothing to innovate on this incredibly tired formula. You sort colored items into matching bins. That is the entire game. While I must begrudgingly admit that the developers eventually added unique symbols to assist with colorblind accessibility—a rare thoughtful touch in this shovelware genre—the core gameplay loop remains incredibly mundane. By level 50, you have seen absolutely everything the game has to offer. The difficulty curve does not scale intelligently; it simply throws more clutter on the screen to artificially extend the time it takes to complete a stage. As an experienced gamer who grew up on complex, thought-provoking puzzle mechanics like Tetris or Myst, this feels like a glorified, mindless time-waster designed purely to serve advertisements between every single level. It requires no skill, just patience.
