★★★★★ One and done
Tue Jan 16 2024 SusanweslaMostly great puzzles. A few duds because there is no way to solve other than guess and carry out different scenarios. But those are only a few. My biggest disappointment is that once they’re solved, you cannot “save” the puzzle and work it again. You can’t even LOOK at your solved puzzles. Only choice in the “solved puzzles” link is to select them and discard the ones you selected. I suppose that appeases some players ego that want to delete the ones they got hints on so as to have a “perfect” record. For those of us who don’t really care about the stats, just enjoy solving logic puzzles, it’s pointless. I always thought I would be able to replay puzzles I PAID FOR. But instead, I have paid for packages that had puzzles I already solved included. I get it. They want the gravy train to keep sucking money out of my wallet. But they would get that with NEW puzzles anyway. I’m just a bit soured by the fact they take away my opportunity to solve puzzles I paid for more than once.
Having said that, it would be nice if there were packages with just expert/challenging level puzzles. Hard core logic problem solvers bore easily with having to purchase bulk easy puzzles (like 60-80 of them) to the 20-40 challenging ones.
★★★★★ Best logic puzzle game!
Tue Mar 16 2021 EeeeekamouseI love logic puzzles and I’ve tried all of the ones currently available in the App Store. This one is by far the best! It has a simple, non distracting interface; I like that the clues are displayed all at once in a list form (in some logic puzzle apps, the clues appear one at a time and that’s sluggish and annoying). It’s easy to cross off the clues you already solved. The puzzle grid is on a separate “page” but is easily accessible with a swipe up or swipe down. I’m still on the free version of this app and there are still many left to do at all different levels. The levels are challenging and fun. Once my free puzzles are solved, I’m going to subscribe to access more.
In short, if you love logic puzzles that are fun and challenging, and you like an attractive, intuitive, non distracting interface, you should down load this app. I’ve tried them all and I highly recommend this one to be your main logic puzzle app. It is truly the best one in the store!
★★★★★ Another upgrade messing things up
Sun Jul 28 2024 Disappointed TryingNickNotTknSince your recent upgrade, (1) I cannot restore purchases. I’ve tried more than once now, and (2) it is unclear if it ever connected and worked on restoring them - looked like nothing happened. I have been paying monthly for a long time. But the app is showing only solved puzzles. (3) Also, the app has been incredibly difficult to open. Multiple times, it has frozen up and them closed without ever opening. (4) The first time it finally opened since the upgrade, it did not show the option to restore purchase. (5) I am about to cancel my subscription but am giving a little more time. But if I cancel it before you get to it, don’t come back and say I don’t have one. I did at the time I tried all this, and I’ve had one a few years by now.
(The rest is about the last upgrade debacle which did get addressed. I’m leaving it, though, since there have been upgrade problems more than once.)
Please get rid of the pop up scenario/story that you added recently. It is obnoxious and sometimes hangs up before it closes. Also, the entire puzzle doesn’t load as well and also hangs up when closing. It seems you relied on rookie programming all of a sudden to change a product that used to work fine.
★★★★★ Ignore the time expected
Tue Nov 11 2025 Cleopatra peanutThe time expected is either supposed to demoralize you and shame you or inspire you. I’m not sure which but just ignore it because I solved one in under two minutes and it had five steps and it had I think five or six options and it still said it was less than expected and I think that was pretty good so they’re either like I said, trying to demoralize you and shame you or inspire you to go faster, neither of which really matter in the scheme of things. There’s a lot of evidence that in math and logical thinking speed is not a determining factor of intelligence. In fact, the higher people get in math and logical thinking the slower they work. Cleary the people designing this app are not keeping up on the latest studies done at Ivy League institutions regarding intelligence linked with speed. To think think deeply and contemplatively and logically means to think slower so I’m going go with they’re trying to demonize and shame you because they are not keeping up on the latest research. It’s embarrassing for them. Other than that, I’m enjoying it. I used to get books that had these kinds of puzzles in it as a kid so it’s fun to find them as an adult.
★★★★★ I like but…..
Thu Feb 16 2023 amiran33I really like this app for a couple reasons. It has 7x7 grids which are hard to find within the logic puzzling community. I also enjoy the challenging level and the graphics. This being said, there are a couple user interface issues that ruin it for me. For one, when you select a correct answer, the other boxes in that row and column are automatically changed to wrong. This would be a useful feature, except when undoing the correct answer, the now “wrong” boxes do not automatically turn blank. This can be frustrating because I now have to go back and undo each one, causing more now “wrong” answers, and because I also now don’t know which X’s I put there previously. In addition, I wish there was a zoom feature, as it’s hard to click smaller boxes and mistaken clicks can easily mess up your game. All in all, I enjoyed playing this game and I think it was manufactured very thoughtfully. The puzzles were very intriguing and I think with just a couple improvements, this game could really beat out all others on the market!
★★★★★ IF YOU LIKE LOGIC PUZZLES...
Wed Apr 22 2020 _LivingDeadGirl_Then I highly recommend this one for the following reasons:
1) I like how they start off fairly simple and gradually get harder as you go along. I personally like this method because you get eased in to the harder puzzles.
2) Early on I thought there was an error with one of the clues (which ended up just being me mis-reading the sentence...frustrating mistake on my part, grrr). Anyways, the developer was quick to reply, was super helpful, and it was abundantly clear that he cares a lot about the app. Even though I was mistaken and thought there could possibly be an error, the puzzles truly don’t have them- which means that you won’t get 3/4 of the way through a puzzle only to find out you can’t solve it because the clues all contradict each other.
3) how often do you play a free puzzle without ads? I mean, seriously...NO ADS!! The developer specifically says he “doesn’t like them” which is why we don’t have to deal with them and how awesome is that?!
These are just 3 quick reasons why I will not only continue playing the free part of this app but will support the app monetarily as well.
I’m not being paid to write this nor do I work for or with the developer. I just like to promote great apps when I come across them, and it’s not every day that I find apps that are worth the time to promote.
If you like logic puzzles I can’t recommend this app highly enough!!!
★★★★★ Fun and challenging
Fri Aug 20 2021 endresultsI really like this game and the fact that you actually have to use logic to solve them, but there was just one puzzle that confused me. It was the weightlifting challenge I believe, and the first clue is that “Francisco lifts a weight that is 40 pounds lighter than the one Jeremy chose.” The next clue is that “The South African chose a weight that was somewhat heavier than the one Francisco chose,” which meant that both Jeremy and the south African had a weight that was slightly more heavy than Francisco. Is Jeremy the South African? No, I tried that and it didn’t work. How about Oliver? No, they are Dane or American. It isn’t Vincent either, I’m pretty sure he had a weight of 1,000 pounds. The only people who could be the South African is Jeremy or Oliver, and neither were correct. I don’t know if I’m just missing something, but this puzzle really didn’t make sense to me. Other than that this game fun and I could play it for hours.
★★★★★ Very very good.
Fri Apr 01 2022 FeatherCreek535This app is very good and works well, my only “complaint”, which is probably just me being… me, is that I really don’t like the percentage it shows you at the top that says like: 98% without hints or something, and it’s good for people who like to display that they’ve only used one hint or have used no hints, but I don’t like how it displays it on the “main screen”, it would be great if there was like a tab or something in the app that you can look at to see that sort of thing. That’s my only “negative” thing to say about this app, sometimes it’s a bit frustrating especially if you’ve completed a puzzle and it says something is wrong but for the life of you you cannot figure out what’s wrong and you really don’t want to have to use a hint. Wow, I have strong opinions on hints. Overall like I have said previously this is a very good app, works well, nothing wrong with it, I just have a irrational thing with the hint features. Thank you.
