KAMI is a masterclass in minimalist puzzle design. It takes the ancient art of origami and transforms it into a digital experience that is both cognitively demanding and incredibly soothing. The premise is deceptively simple: you are presented with a folded paper pattern of various colors, and your goal is to flood the entire screen with a single color in as few moves as possible. Each 'move' consists of choosing a color and tapping an area to change its hue, which then cascades out to all touching areas of the same color.

What truly elevates KAMI above its peers is the tactile aesthetic. The sound of paper rustling and the animation of the screen literally 'folding' into the new color is immensely satisfying. The difficulty curve is perfectly pitched; early levels teach you the cascading logic, while later stages require you to visualize several moves ahead to hit the 'Perfect' score. It’s a rare game that manages to stimulate the brain while simultaneously lowering your heart rate. If you appreciate clean design and logical challenges, KAMI is an essential download.
