Dinsun here. Look, Idle Miner Tycoon is a competent piece of software if you just want something to blink at you while you're busy with real life, but let's not pretend it's deep strategy. It’s a well-oiled machine designed to keep you clicking and watching ads for 'boosts' that only solve problems the game created for you in the first place. You hire a manager, you walk away, you come back, and the numbers are bigger. That's the loop.
The UI is clean, and the progression is paced well enough to trigger those dopamine hits, but after the fifth mine, you realize you're doing the exact same thing with a different coat of paint. It’s the kind of game that plays itself, and as someone who prefers to actually earn my victories through skill rather than just existing, I find the 'tycoon' label a bit generous. It's a time-sink, nothing more, nothing less.
