Dinsun Review
Dinsun here. I usually avoid 'hyper-casual' games because they feel like they were made in a weekend. Hyper Drift doesn't change my mind, but I will admit the drifting feels okay. It’s very arcadey—don't expect CarX physics here. You swipe, you slide, you collect coins. That’s the whole game. It’s perfect for when you’re waiting for the bus, and that’s about it.
The problem is the ads. There are more ads than actual gameplay. You finish a 20-second race and watch a 30-second ad. It ruins the flow. The progression is just 'collect coins for a slightly different colored car.' There’s no depth, no challenge once you get the rhythm down. It’s a conservative 48 because it’s a functional time-waster, but as a gamer, I need more substance to call it 'good.'
