Sun Jul 31 2022 CquissI got it early during comic con. It’s really cool to see your little buddy grow. But other than that there’s not much in this app. I’m a huge fan of dragons and the books and the show. That being said, there’s really not much to do in this app apart from feeding your dragon and teaching your dragon some commands. After your dragon grows that’s pretty much it. This app has a lot of potential. Would be nice to add mini games or missions in the future. Or even battling. But seeing that this app was developed by the same people who made the my Daemon app another AR app promo for another show, I highly doubt any updates will happen in the future. This app purpose is to promote the show. But I’m still hopeful that they will pay attention to this app and update it.
A lot to be desired
Sat Jul 30 2022 KaraOni13AR burns through my battery like dragon fire, causing me to only be able to keep my app open for five minutes at most before overheating my phone and crashing. There’s no actual tutorial either, it’s like “tap, talk, and feed” till your dragon learns one new trick for the day, come back tomorrow. Not to mention, to my fellow ASOIAF readers: the dragons do not breathe same color fire as their scales :( the dragons do look good though their limbs are super flimsy when “walking around” their surroundings.
Dear Developers,
Please give a toggle to turn AR off into a Westeros-like background setting would be extremely helpful, and a low graphics/power toggle too. As well as giving us audio settings as well, and signing up with a designated account because I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app then learned the hard way that i wasn’t getting my original dragon back, and had to say goodbye to the dragon I worked so hard to raise.
Not enough there yet
Thu Oct 13 2022 DamianaKariI love dragons and the a song of ice and fire world. It would be really nice if this game added anything more than the initial egg choosing and training process. I like the giving commands in Valyrian but it’s frustrating that I have to wait for the game to “teach” me them instead of being able to use whichever Valyrian words from the get go. The AR is really wonky and has my dragon clipping out constantly. It either needs some big improvement or the option to turn AR off and have a background generate. Also when I first loaded the game and chose my egg it bugged out to the point I had to close the app. When I reopened the app it had me choose eggs again, not having the colour egg I’d chosen before. Then when I named it the game chose a completely different and random name for my dragon. Would love for this to be a good fleshed out app with some ASOIAF worldbuilding and dragons in it.
So many quality issues & glitches!
Wed Oct 12 2022 gryhoundlvrMy husband and I both downloaded this app when House of the Dragon came out. It was good to start, but now that our dragons have “grown” to fitting outside of household spaces, this app is really messing up for both of us. When it’s not glitching, the dragon will not come out of the sky due to spatial recognition issues. It seems like the app is having a hard time recognizing certain planes (fence, house) & the dragon won’t ever land & just goes back into the sky. Whenever it does manage to “land”, the app glitches so much the commands no longer work, or the app freezes my entire phone up. Pretty tired of it at this point.

Sat Sep 10 2022 Dr.E211I was very excited about this app when I saw the add for it after last weeks episode. I downloaded the app but unfortunately I’m not impressed. My dragon has grown and learned new commands, however when my dragon flies he’s not flying around the sky he just “floats” it sounds like he is flapping his wings and gliding through the sky but in reality he is just in the same spot on my phone. That’s boring.
In addition there are no instructions, no goals to achieve, no interactions with other dragons. I’ve only seen one dragon since I started taking my dragon outside and that dragon seemed to fly and move around like what expected but my little boy just stayed in the same spot on my screen.
There is nothing to strive for here or do and when I walk around my dragon is on the same spot as well I couldn’t go for a walk because my dragon needs to be in the screen for me to give him a command.
The idea is great but doesn’t seem like there was really a test done on the app, it’s as if they were just banking on the name to get as many downloads as possible to receive more funding. Gonna delete. Not worth the space on my phone or battery life.
Fun app
Sun Jul 31 2022 SuburbanChunkIt’s fun to raise a dragon and have it learn and grow. It’s keeping me entertained even though I’ve never watched a single episode of GoT. I know it’s been just released and there may be bugs but something has to be done about the app heating up the phone. I have the latest Apple device and iOS but this app gets the phone hot to where I shut the app down and play something else. I used AR in many other games from many other companies and this hasn’t happened on those games. Sure it’s just a bug but it limits my play time with the game.
App Reset After Dragon was 80% to Adult
Fri Oct 21 2022 atrillionmadeIm am so disappointed👎🏾. Ive been playing this app everyday for the last 2 months trying to grow my dragon to an adult and beyond. Got my dragon to 80% to adult, and today the app reset, a complete waste of my time and effort. Developers is there a way for you to restore my data so I can get my dragon back? This is why there needs to be accounts so that folks dont have to start over if they have a new device or if something’s goes wrong, users should be able to restore their dragon since its takes so long to grow them. Can someone please help me get my dragon back??? If not I will not be wasting my time playing this game if there is no support.

Sat Aug 13 2022 Cocobaby03I have had so much fun with this app. And, thankfully I have not had the problems I have read in some reviews. I would like to know how to pronounce my dragon's name in valerian (Vicatanor).
Everything else has been great! My dragon will fly on command, cook his own food and has eaten a goat in the grasslands. I pet him frequently and you can see how much he likes it. I think it's really cute when he lays down after he eats and takes a nap. I can hear him softly breathing. Great job creating this app!
I love this but can I have more than 1 dragon?
Tue Jul 30 2024 ChrisS787I love my dragon and the app showing me other dragons in the wild but after it’s grown I’d like to have another without losing my current older one I’ve worked so hard to grow. Also please add a feature to allow me to edit my dragons name. I accidentally hit accept name and now I can’t edit it at all. I love my dragon and thus I’m keeping it but it would be great to have the ability to go back to the naming process.
Start Seeing Dragons Everywhere
Wed Oct 12 2022 NèlidaOne of the best features is not only raising your own unique, beautiful dragon but you soon begin spotting dragons from all over the world. By joining the Reddit forum, I was able to share pics of one of the dragons I spotted flying over my house with its owner, neat :)
The forum is also a great reference area if you’d like an idea of which eggs hatch what type of dragon. Looking for a specific color, for example, check there before U snatch an egg. Hope this helps.
