Heroes of Flatlandia is a love letter to the classic Heroes of Might and Magic series, tailored specifically for mobile devices. It successfully condenses the epic 4X strategy feel into maps that can be conquered in a single sitting. The hex-based combat is tactical and satisfying, requiring real thought about unit positioning and spell usage.

The art style is clean and vibrant, making it easy to distinguish units on a smaller screen. While it doesn't have the massive budget of larger fantasy titles, the balance between the three different races and the variety of neutral monsters make for a very deep strategic experience.
