Don't let the title fool you—Happy Game is anything but. Developed by the masters of surrealism at Amanita Design, this is a psychedelic horror trip disguised as a child's storybook. The contrast between the bright, colorful art style and the grotesque, nightmarish imagery is jarring in the best way possible. It follows a young boy falling into three consecutive nightmares, and each one is more unsettling than the last.

The gameplay is simple point-and-click, focusing more on the audiovisual experience than difficult logic. It's a game about clicking things to see what horrible (or hilarious) thing happens next. The music by DVA is unsettlingly cheerful, perfectly complementing the screen-filling blood and screaming smiley faces. It's a short experience, but it’s one of the most creatively daring games on mobile. Just be warned: it’s definitely not for kids.
