Dinsun Review
Dinsun here. Amanita Design usually makes charming, whimsical games. This is... not that. Happy Game is a deliberately abrasive experience. It uses a twisted 'cute' aesthetic to hide some genuinely foul stuff. The puzzles are mostly simple interactions—more like 'find the thing to click to see the next gruesome animation' than actual brain-teasers.
As a 40-year-old, the shock value wears thin pretty quickly. It’s well-made, and the sound design is appropriately jarring, but it feels like it's trying too hard to be 'edgy.' It’s short, punchy, and will likely leave you feeling a bit greasy. It's an interesting experiment, but not exactly what I'd call 'fun.'
