Welcome to Hackers - the colorful golf app full of exciting games and formats that you and your party can play during your next round of golf! We understand that golf is hard, and sometimes you'll find yourself short on fun when you're playing - you're a hack! This app was build to serve all golf enthusiasts, no matter how good you are or how long you've been playing. Our main mission is for you to experience the joys of the game of golf while also showing you fun scenarios and formats for how creative you can get with the game.

Hackers was built with peace and simplicity in mind to keep you focused on your round with your party. Hackers respects the unwritten courtesies of the game and was design with conventional golf etiquette in mind. Technology is an unstoppable force and we understand that sometimes the golf course is the best place to get away , relax, and disconnect. This product was designed so that it can be used for less than 10 seconds on each hole so you can get back to enjoying quality time with those you care about most!

How the app works:

The app is designed to be played with parties of 2-4 golfers during their round, with expansion to multiple parties coming soon!
* SIMPLE SETUP - Create your round and choose whether you're playing the front 9, back 9, or full 18 holes, as well as what hole you're starting on (for shotgun starts).
* PLAYER COLORS - Enter the players in your party and pick their favorite color that'll make them standout in the app.
* SIDE GAMES - Pick a side game that you'd like to play for however many holes. Have no fear! You can play as many side games over your round so mix and match to your desires.
* LEADERBOARD - Aside from side games, you enter all stroke scores on the Leaderboard. It will keep your true score throughout your round (both gross and net if using handicaps).
* LIVE SCORING - Make up your own Party Code that's short and memorable for others in your party to join in on the action with live scoring and real-time updates.
* SPECTATE - If playing with multiple groups, eavesdrop on other rounds to see their live results hole-by-hole.

How the app doesn't work:

Hackers scoring was designed deliberately based on net par scoring (i.e. birdie is -1, par is 0, bogey is 1, etc..). Math is hard enough, there's no need to complicate your brain further with having to add par 3, 4, or 5 to every value. Don't believe us? Add the following numbers:
4 + 4 + 5 + 3 + 7 + 8 + 3 + 3
now add the following:
0 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 0 + 0
Which was easier? The net par scoring, of course. When you're round is over, just add the course par to your total and you're golden!
We also intentionally don't track courses played, show yardages or distance to green, or have GPS functionality. Why? Well, there's a million golf GPS apps, as well as a plethora of range finders and physical yardages devices on the market that are top notch!
